Hey all, I have been reading this thread and it has helped me a lot. I am in the search for the type x front lips. I have seen several discussed here but I am somewhat confused about the aftermarket lips.

Who makes the best fitment and as far as durability, since the oem lip is discontinued and way to expensive what have most of you decided to do as far as the lip is concerned.

Version Select V6, I presume the front has the lip "molded into it". However I've heard the front is not "as low as the sides".

Are the sides larger the stock Kouki ones? Bumper not as lower as Kouki + Lip?

version select v6 shouldn't be considered because of how badly it fits.

but the front bumper looks higher than the skirts if you mount it so the top of the bumper sits flush with the fender/hood.

you gotta sag it to make it look lower

I can't see much with my Ganador mirrors, but I think it is because they are actually for an S15. I might try to sell them this winter and get an actual S13 set, but we'll see. It's not super terrible with a Broadway mirror.

Ordered some DMAX park lights already, so they're on their way, and clear BMW side repeaters too.

Excuse the heinous paint, and dent. They're getting done very soon. Lip needs a bit of fixing too.

I've heard people talk about it many times and I think many of them don't have experience with them.

BUT, again, I could see fine out of mine. I had the Bride Zeros too. No problems!
