If anyone is interested I have a set of R35 570cc with 11mm hats to fit a JZ top feed rail for sale. I made 510whp & 462ftlbs at 23psi with them (stock ECU with AFC NEO). They plugged right up to my 2jzgte vvti harness. so for vvti engines they are practically drop in if you have a top feed rail.

price is $270 shipped for all six of them

That's it mocked up
But here is the problem.....the two middle studs are too long to put the nuts on ands they hit the runners.

The stud issue is sort of normal for a top mount manifold. I think suprastore or a few places sell shorter studs. I would advise hitting up an ace hardware and getting something a little shorter for those bottom studs.

Ahh ok, so this is normal like was said above. I believe as another alternative you can call Curt@elmhurst and get some shorter OEM studs.

That is a worry for me too. I'm waiting on mine from driftmotion. I'm using the same turbo as yours, looks like a tight fit. Lol

What size bolts did you use for the oil return? I got the boost lab oil line kit ands I had to trim the AN line for return since it's not ment for this manifold.
What's your setup?

I haven't messed with anything yet. Waiting on a few more pieces to get here. I just got the twins off the engine. I wish I had the money to put a single on at the same time as I did the swap. Taking the turbos off while the eninge is in the car was a huge pain in the dick. Hahaha

Borgwarner s360, driftmotion manifold, FIC fuel rail, 80lb siemen deka injectors, Aeromotive fpr, mac boost solenoid, megasquirt ms3x. I am fabbing the oil lines myself...I just got the adapters

Honestly after looking at the picture of the manifold again. If the studs aren't touching I would remove all the other nuts pull the manifold back off some and slide those bottom nuts on first while you have the manifold pulled away from the head. You could grind a little material off them if they were touching.

This should give you the clearance to get them started.

2JZGTE Swapped S-Chassis thread

Got my Walbro 400 E85 pump, AN-8 outlet, and AN-6 inlet installed today. I will split to two AN-6 up to the rail after my AN-8 filter. This setup allowed me to keep the factory venturi to keep the tank evened out.

It's 8-AN split to 2 6-AN. I'm looking for 650ish. The -6 on the hat is for the return. I'm honestly not sure what it should be capable of. According to what I've been reading, I should be safe for a little more than I'm planning, even on E85.

DO NOT block off that rear feed from the head, it's needed to keep good circulation to the head.

For that coolant line you can just block it off (bolt and clamp) or pull the nipple out and tap it.

As for the vac lines (if single) you just need one for your fuel pressure regulator, MAP sensor, brake booster, and bov (if you have one)

Is it safe to tape as is? Or does the head have to be completely disassembled? How do you bolt and clamp?

Please tell me I wasn't supposed to put rtv on the new usdm water pump for the 2J. When taking the old jdm one off it had no sign of old rtv on it and the FSM said nothing about rtv.

I drilled and tapped mine on the engine and then used a shop vac to suck out the shavings.

Hey guys, anyone have an IAT sensor for 1JZ? Would be part #89424-28010. Or where I could get it, local toyota dealership could not get them.

Also, what are you guys doing for powersteering into s-chassis? Looking to make my own but if there is a bolt in sort of kit, that you have tried and truly works let me know!

Thanks all!

Mocking mine up right now too. Had same problem with the middle 2 exhaust studs. Will have to cut the ends off.

Decided to go ahead and install arp's and new headgasket since I will be looking for more boost than my twins and stock injectors would allow me. This shit woulda been Hella easier when the engine went in the first time...

I should have mine somewhere in the garage. I am going AEM and will be using their sensor.
