I mean if they are guaranteeing no cap on drivers, and 50 bucks per driver, i'm sure after a few months, this will be toned down.

But I think to speed things up, People should have an "advanced" sticker....those advanced drivers get to lead, as the beginner driver follows....it'll cut times in half, and those that are advanced, can move straight to the front of the line.

should speed things up, beginners just have to get better, advanced gets more runs. Keeps things moving as smoothly as possible.

True... if the car doesnt spin it really isnt taking up ANY time... especially if there is a less advanced following behind..

hell, if anything, they will learn some techniques or lines too right?

TANDEM line...

and a SINGLE RUN line.

switch off, 1 tandem, 1 single run.

back and forthhhhh

should make things go a lot faster too

People tend to freak out when learning tandem.
So even at 10 car lengths, a less advanced driver, following the advanced driver, is gonna spin a lot more.
Which makes the point of trying to double up a bigger waste of time.

Plus, who makes the call on who is advanced?
Everyones gonna get their pride on and say that they are advanced, so there will be a bigger advanced line too.

And how many "Advanced" drivers were spinning last time??
If you dont know, since i was on track shooting photos, i will tell you, A LOT !!!

Even some Formula D drivers were spinning.
I would be pissed, if i waited a half hour, and the guy i was forced to let lead me, spun.
Fuck that!

I dont have any answers, and i really dont think there are.
Over complication ends up taking more time in the end.

I think Riley is doing great.
Let Irwindale make the call for awhile.
If the event dies down, maybe they will give Riley a chance.
If not, no worries.
Riley gave us
another event
sometihng to keep some kids out of trouble on fridays
kept street drifting on the track
got people to come out of their comfort areas/venues
helped a lot of drives get to meet

and i got a elephant ear thing!

A+ on ^^^ -- Best thing any event organizer can do. Keep street drifting on the tracks.. Safety First ! ! All you have to worry is your driving skills. no Cops and avoid the Worst killing Innocent people..

you should do an in car view for the noobs....that way they can see what line to take if the track isn't forgiving.
