so i started a new thread for this but i saw this thread and figured id try over here for help

so heres the problem. i have a 1990 hatch runs great pretty low miles, bone stock. a couple months ago i was driving with the cruise control and all of the sudden the cruise control shut off and the speedometer stop reading anything, went down to zero. now if i get above 3500 rpm in fifth gear (about 85mph) the motor either cuts fuel or ignition until it gets back down to about 3k. at first i thought it was just the vehicle speed sensor so the other day i swapped it for a brand new one. im still having the same problem. the funny thing is sometimes if ive been on the road for a half hour or so the speedo works momentarily as well as the cruise control, but then cuts out and does the same thing. if anyone has any clue as to why this is happening any help would be very appreciated. driving around town with no speedo is sketchy with the po po around here.

I open my radiator cap and see this. Car does not have any symptoms of a blown headgasket besides unstable idle. Could this be caused by my heater hose that was kinked for a long time?

what else could this be:

I took my ac control unit out for a while to take it apart and replace some of the plastic buttons. I put it back together to my knowledge correctly, its rather straight foward.

My ac worked PERFECTLY before, now it always blows scalding hot air no matter what I have the setting on.

What gives?

Compressor kicks on too btw.

Not a 'true' way at all. I mean if you could fab a set of turn plates up, and have a camber gauge you could....but that's about it.

Pic doesn't work. You need to host it, not copy from your email.

has something to do with your speedo sensor.
think you already know this, but just verifying if anything.
I took mine off to try and run the Mohave Mile, cut out the same way.

So if you put a new one in, check the wires all the way up.
trace em and i bet you find the problem.
maybe the prongs in the little 2 wire harness arent touching?

so i stripped my oil feed line to my t25 (stock sr20det redtop)...
instead of sticking with the banjo bolt, i want to get an an line for this..
i saw online somebody tapping the hole to a 1/4th and getting a 4 -an line.. i also read that i should put a restrictor in (since the banjo bolt is the restrictor in the stock setup)
what size restrictor should i use?
would this work? GT Oil Feed Fitting w/ Restrictor : -4 an GT BB Turbos [L-021] - $14.95 : Himni Racing, Turbocharger, Turbo, Garrett, Turbo Kit, GReddy, Mazda RX-7, HKS, Apexi, TiAL, TurboXS, TurboSmart, Flange, Turbonetics, Exhaust, Intercooler, ACT, Intake

(and i'm thinking this screws into the turbo itself.. but i'd just like someone to tell me for sure)

Should work. As long as the t25 has the same size/thread oil feed.

I would assume t25/t28/gt28 are all the same

should I get it?

So there is this s14 that looks pretty good, but if you look at it closely, you can tell it needs work which is fine for me. But it does have 160,000 miles on. So is 5200 OBO a good deal for that car?
It also has rims, coilovers, and and some other little things

I dont know that answer to that, maybe one of the other memebers does.

But being in CA, you can get a used cluster pretty easily, so its worth a shot if you got a day off.
just grab one from the junk yard

Need help! Previous owner of my shell stripped out the steering column. Not terribly bad, enough where i can chase it and it should work BUT! its the 180sx steering column.
Question: What thread pitch is the 180sx steering column?
