SOOOO NOBODY BUY ANYTHING FROM ZEROLIFT,

Long story short I got screwed $1100, when buying a 2jz and was never delivered.

Order on July 1 2015.

Mike Bailey is a peice of shit.

Anyway just wanted to throw that out there for anyone looking to buy an engine or parts.

On another note has anybody used the cbf performance shifter with their cd009?

I'll be going with CBF for the shifter location.

I just ordered the REV 2 Maverick Motorsports kit for the CD009. I was going to go ahead and get the shifter relocation but now that I'm thinking about it I think that the adapter plate is going to cause the transmission to be even farther back. The r154 shifter position was right at about 29" so I just need to subtract the thickness off the adapter plate to find out where the shifter needs to be. As soon as I get this information I'll post it up here. Does anyone know if the clutch line for my R154 will work? (I know it is wishful thinking but some part of me wants to think the thread pitch is probably the same).

Finally got this done, 3/4 - 16 thread about 2.5" long. Trans-Dapt Spin on Filter adapter, x2 -10AN line fittings

Helped cut down on all that unnecessary items for the OEM setup.

They do, but I'm using the thermostat, filter relocation, and oil cooler from my old sr20 setup.

Guys

Using Cusco solid motor mounts, Freed Engineering mount kit and R154 trans. Will I need to hammer out the tranny tunnel for clearance?

Freds kit sets the kit as far back as possible, I had to hammer I little to get the bolts in on the auto, I would assume the same for the r154 as the bolt pattern is the same, possibly you could do without of you dropped the trans and motor in together

Thank you.

My car had a Z32 trans in it with xcessive kit. Before I decided to go 2j. I am unsure if it was hammered out or not. But I wanted to ask since I have the motor out now and wanted to get it done before the I do paint work.

Where did you have to hammer the most? on top of the tunnel where the top of the bolts are on the bell housing?

I had to hammer on both, the xcessive kit as far back as possable was still no where close to how far back the freedd kit sits, I have about 1/4in between the oil pan and the front of the subframe.

Any members with freed mounts and a 350z transmission? Need to know measurement on shifter position so I can order my shifter since there's already a two week wait. Want to try and get it as accurate as possible.

Pics from my build thread. Cusco mount, Freed kit, and R154. I DID NOT have to hammer anything.

What FMIC kit are you running?

Also this is for everyone. This may have been answered before but I don't think people will mind if I ask again. Are there any other options out there for full FMIC kits besides CX racing for 2J in a S13? I will still need to modify there kit slightly. And there cores are decent, I have seen them flow good enough for 500 plus. I just wanted to see what others have done.

Thanks,

Look for clutch recommendations

What brands are people running on their 2jz swaps with R154 trans?
Looking for a clutch that can hold 500hp plus
Good for steet duty and occasional track days.

Also looking for recommendations on what people do flywheel wise
