it's good to use when you go from sidemount intercooler to front mount. normally the cold pipe comes up right where the battery is, so a smaller sized battery is needed. otherwise you can relocate the battery to the trunk.

have had my miata battery since june o5 not a prob yet! i even drive it everyday! sometimes i let it sit for a week and it starts up just fine.

yeah the Miata battery is fine. i could still run mine but since i went through the hassle of running the wiring to the trunk im gonna stick with the big guy. Now i can put my subs back in.
