once i heard the loud pop and didnt have a clue wtf happened.. i shut the car down. The next time the car was restarted I had replaced the coilpack with 1 of the spares I had and fresh plugs. It ran like normal. I went back through trying to troubleshoot why it popped in the first place and all my wiring test showed no problems with the coil pack wiring or anything.

so i chopped it up to the 6-7yrs of abuse the motor has taken from me.

dang im glad u fixed it. im going to try what u did see if that works if not im out of luck, i really wish this never happened to me. if any1 know what i can do please help or if u have a cheap motor please lmk.

If you have anyone near you that knows a bit more about SR's and/or motors i would suggest having them take a look at it first.. best to have it looked at then to cause urself more headaches.
