here is progress on 1five10's 510. it started off as a pencil sketch, then it went through some inking to make the image stand out a bit better, next will be add the deeper offset rims in back and make them look more tucked in. Then coloring will begin, after all the inking and background sketching is done.

sorry if the images are not too clear, i blame the camera!!!

well, i have to work evening shift today, so this will have to wait till tomorrow.

ok, just let me know ahead of time so that i can work on it and send it. just FYI, if you guys want something on a specific date let me know ahead of time, cause i already have a lot of drawing projects to work on. i wish i could draw with my left hand too, that way i could work on two drawings at a time. hahahaha.

I can only do black and white drawings, when it comes to color, my drawings end upstarting to come out looking like crap.

yea... u should try shadowing, its a coloring technique that makes the color darker to give it more depth and 3d look. otherwise if u color it normally it will look like a cartoon-ish picture. the more u draw the better, even if it feels like ur not getting any better. but u eventually will.

so, im fed up with seeing these new Nissan 240SX's and Hyundai's coming out and all the new cars that have no sporty body look and i have decided to draw this 2009 Nissan 240SX to show everyone that there are many other better designs that the companies could have used!!!!

i told u nissan!!! if u wont make one i will!!! haha.

not hating, or anything. but take this from a fellow artist. you need to work on your proportion, shading. and fine outlines. attention to detail is what makes or breaks a drawing.

Car's are tough, i should probably try it again sometime, this is an R34 i did. my freshmen year. it's poster sized. i believe its around 18" in length.
