If you don't know what a part is or what it does, but you are willing to put it on your car anyways then you are a ricer. Come on, you title the post "where can i buy this, pic" and then proceed to ask, "does anyone have prices or the benifits of this part."

If you look, back, he answered your question of where you can go to buy the part (or at least pointed you in a direction). Then he also told you what the part actually does. Yeah, I would fully expect someone to say the same stuff to me if I wanted to do something to my car with out having a F*&*ing clue what it actually did and how it would affect the car.

Point being, the one guy you are telling to STFU is also the guy trying to help you out.

Welcome to Oregon Trail.

Dousans The SH*T ;)

"dont worry kid's dousan knows what hes talking about, him and Nissan USA designed the S13 themselves, if you remember his previous posts "He knows Nissan USA personally" so you need to listen to him, after all, he is the king around here, i mean noone can be more worthy then him to be king of zilvia, you have to admit a guy with 3028 posts after registerig just a year ago has to be given credit, sometimes he comes across as being a dick, or as being someone who knows everything about these cars, or just having no life, but just remember, he cares, zilvia is his life, hes the one that makes zilvia worth all the while for us, some may ask us "do you ever get tired of his smart ass comments, or his I know everyone and everything in this industry and about this industry attitude" i say, of course not, he just cares, and remember, he knows corporate companys personally, so if you talk trash, he just might tell them not to sell you products."

PS = he told me he was thinking about getting an s14 to build like the one in the pic. A guy like that has to have talent, and good taste :P

PPS = He is setting up a program with nextel that will page and or text him everytime someone replys, is that not the attitude of a die hard zilvia fanatic or what. Gosh i wanna be like this guy.

Dude i never said i did not know what it does, did you read the post at all or just shoot a reply. I asked about benifits, yeah the part looks nice, but i dont want to bolt it up just to hear it rattle, or not preform well. So I was hoping someone who owened it would say how he feels about the part. Its called askeing for help man. And then you state have you see an sr on a dyno, honestly no i have not, a million hondas, talons, **** like that yes, but damn im in North Dakota. Not to many SR swaps running around up here. And i have no reason to dyno mine untill my turbo kit gets here so theres you answer to that.

shall we break it down?
I said "does anyone have prices or the benifits of this part"
price-easy question,
benifit-easy question to give opinion on but hard unless you really have the part, as the part my not live up to its name. Where the hell did you get that i dont know what it does out of that? Or that the second i found out how much it was going to cost that i would run to the net and order one up. Please help me understand what the hell you are getting at?
You also call me "RICER. POSER. WANNABE. TOOL." in my world the guy who talks ****, wont help anybody, and has nothen to do better than bash peoples post is the ultimate ricer. Grow a little respect man. And next time untill i talk **** at you, please dont talk **** to me. If everyone followed these rules this site would be a lot better place. Im sure there are people that dont even ask the stuff they want to know, just cause they dont wanna deal with this kind of BS from haters. For all you guys post away, ill help you with what I can. Also please show me where this part has been discused and reviewed before as you make it sound like i did no research. thanks have a nice day

i mean no offence, but when someone asks the benifits of something, it usually implies they dont know what that said thing does. im having a hard time understanding how you can know what something does, but not how it will benifit you. i mean the benifits ARE what it does, it isnt an elaborate mechanism. and if you were asking for personal testimony for or against it, you should have said so. your original post was only asking where it could be purchased. when that was answered, you asked how much and what the benifits were. i did a search myself with "engine torque damper" on yahoo.com. it came up with several useful places (mostly japanese), containing average prices, and product description. even if you cant read japanese, it takes a few seconds to run it through bablefish (then a few more to decifer bablefish's blatant engrish, haha). there was even an australian site that mentioned the direct benifits that said damper did for them (on an S15 IIRC). information is always out there if you look hard. dousan may have come down rather harsh (in my opinion), but i know where hes coming from. id think that someone with your level of experience would see this as well. cant we all just get along?

Cali clique? I'm from Connecticut, you know, 3000 miles away.

It's people who think clique. What boro said was absolutely correct. It's benefits ARE what it is.

Well, notice the fact that essentially all of the people ganging up one Dousan are newbs (to the forum). They probably haven't learned his sense of humor yet.

Also, to whoever called his sleepy eye's rice, do you even know why those headlight controllers were developed? Those sleepy eyes were done originally to direct more air into the engine bay, sort of like the air scoop headlight cover. Yes, i'm sure there are a lot of ricers doing it, but don't think that anyone with the mod is a rice boy.

Actually, I think the stock engine would benefit more from a colder initial air charge than an SR with an intercooler, but I could be wrong about that.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. I LOVE when people diss Dousan's car. Its the furthest thing you can get from rice or posing. It's my favorite RMS13, and probably my favorite 240 (mine's getting close...). Anyway, Dousan gets a sh_tload of poser PM's and emails left and right all day (he works at a place on his computer) so be paient with his anger. Some godziras aren't as docile as others. Anyway, I think this post is funny. Dousan, post pics of your car for the Honda boy...

Sorry to spoil the fun kids. I think everyone gets the point. Dousan is a dick like most of pgSPL, but at least they're funny dicks.

If you can't take his sarcasm, bring it up with him in a PM (sorry Dousan... more PM's for you). I for one thought it was pretty obvious as he didn't leave you hanging, and answered the question in the end. With a smiley face none-the-less.

Have a nice day.
