neither was mine. then out of nowhere at the track one day oil was everywhere in my pipes, intercooler core, and was fucking spewing from my BOV every time it released pressure.

i asked around as much as i could on this forum to see if there was a solution to the problem. someone suggested to put that tank back on and see if it still does that. well, after i sourced one of the tanks i put it on, cleaned out all of the oily pipes, and cleaned out the intercooler core. the next time i went to the track there was no oil anywhere, problem solved. this may not fix your problem but its definitely worth a shot. while you are at it you should change out your PCV valve if you havent ever done so.

S13 motors had the tank for a reason. They are lacking the baffling in the valve cover that was later installed in the S14/S15 motors. The baffling is the reason why those later model motors have the "notch top" design to them. you need to re-install the tank to act as your baffling.
