Hi S13SilviaGirl, don't listen to anyone that talks with disrespect, it displays their ignorance for the beauty of a woman (in this case). If you remember, I asked you "whatcha look like", in another thread about your car and I am the one who wanted to see you. I myself am married, so I don't want to seem like a stray, but I think yo have natural beauty, in that you don't need much make-up if any, according to your pic, to show the glowing smile you have.

How is your baby doing? Fine I hope. Blue or pink? If you took the epidural, I bet it hurt like hell with the shot and you had some pains afterward.

I was in debate between army, af and, navy

not goin to the AF, cause you dont sign a contract for a AFSC (job), you sign for a aptitude field. Which isnt cool, cause I wanna know what my job is for the next x years

i have to investigate the navy, so their not illiminated yet

the army cant offer me the MOS i want, cause its packed. 74B is my dream MOS.

and whats big, green, and has an IQ of 10...

From what i hear from the Navy and Marine AF recuirter here in Kenosha, (Army guy is big headed no one lieks him) and from my knowledge from my friend in the Air National Guard. All branches pay the same, if not close depending on rank, and maybe location? Might get better pay oversea's than out in no were in North Dakota.

If u ask me, the recuirter who tells you that you can make more in the AF than in the Marines, is just a pitch to get u to sign.

You aren't gaurenteed a slot if you haven't pass the ASVAB, and even if u sign and passed you get a contract for your MOS. i'm sure if u fail at there tech. school, they can put you were ever they need you.

C3 is prob a rank.But i always thought it was on a E scale "E and O and W"

How come u left out marine corp there Don't you like being the best. So, maybe the boot camp is 13 weeks, no biggie.

what you get paid in the military depends on many things, rank, where you are, and what your doing, almost every1 gets little bonus for what they do, be it hazard pay, overseas pay, or whatever, but the basic paygrade for all forces is the same. im not in the military, but my dad was a marine for 25 years, and i had planned on joining myself, but i was involved in an accident resulting in 3 screws in my kneecap, disqualifing me from service

Screws what screws, thats what i would of said. I denied every medical thing, like medication "ridilin" or how ever u spelled it. They can't look at ur medical back ground, they just need to go on ur opinoion, unless u'r gettin top secret clearnce, but if u have scars, they ask questions, just need right answers. I know a kid who has wires in his cheek bone, he was suppose to be DQ'd but, they let him in cause he said the scar was just a cut when he was little.

I know lying is bad, but when it comes to your future, who cares.

Go to another ecruiter, any GOOD recruiter should know most any job or search around for it. 3C is my field (3C0X1) Computer System Operators. Be careful though 3C is also the first two digits of the cops AFSC, trust me and dont be a cop

Gohan...damn, 29 stumps....eeeewwwwwww that place blows!!! What ever you do, it is an hour to Palm Springs, and an hour and fourty mins to San Bernardino...if you are a country fan (just askin don't kill me ) there is a place called the Brandin Iron in San Bernardino.

Hey Andy~ Base pay, BAH & BAS are the same. AF gets allowances for substandard living pay while they are at school in Pensacola with the Navy and Marines, AF also gets private barracks rooms, and IF they do ever have to share...there again is Substandard living pay. Navy gets seapay, like the Marines, and a few other bonus pays. Like with all branches, promotion depends upon how full your job is. My job for example, has a fast promotion rate. I have been in less than 2 years and am up for E-5 already. Also, Navy does get enlistment and re-enlistment bonuses, the Marines get them, but not nearly as often and for extremly critical MOS. Well, that is my experience, if I am wrong on anything,please correct me If anyone thinking about joining has questions, just pm me, I will be glad to help!

No offense, but that sounds like a rumor. I knew a few Pensacola Tech students and they didn't get that pay. As for promotions, in the AF your job has very little on how fast you get promoted. The idea of a 2 year E-5 in the AF is alittle sickning IMO Starting to see why the marines/army/navy guys lose rank if they cross train over.

I passed the ASVAB with a 75 (dont know line scores), I signed for the ARMY, but had to attend summer school and the contract voided..In the AF its very rare to get a contract for you AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code [aka MOS]) You can get a guarenteed aptiutude field, which means you will have a job in a specified field, but It may be worthless in the end.

Only thing i hate about the Army, they talk big, but are usally 2nd in. And if you are joining the army in the summer of ur Junior-Senior year, they will send u to basic training that summer. And if something happen, they can force you to drop out and get a GED "Thats only say like a war or a draft came"

I dunno how to work qoute, ya i'm newbie My gramar sucks to i know don't tell me what i know hehe

They can not "force" you to drop out. What you are talking about is a special program which my brother attended, and you are correct. You attend BT in your Junior summer, and follow up with AIT Senior summer. What will happen, if something bad happens, is they will ask you to drop and get the GED as to continue training. Just say no, and you are considered a "loss" and your contract is voided. Exactly what happened to me.

There are two programs. The one you speak of is called Split-Op. And what I enrolled in is the DEP (Delayed Entry Program). In my program, if you have things to finish; high school, college, ****, then you enlist and leave after a predetermined time. If something happens (i.e. convicted of a federal crime, fail school, drop out etc...) your contract is voided UNLESS you reenlist there after. Which the ARMY attempted to make it seem like protocol to me. This is what I had to do. But I asked the secret question, "Am I now officialy under contract with the US Government/Military" The anwser is "No" and you can walk out the door.

I new i was close on some stuff, I never focused much on other branches, i work real close w/ my Recuirter "best way to get refferrals and make PFC right away at bt" I am in the DEP program, i live in 8 months its not about being buff, its that you need to be in shape, its the running that kills me, i can do the rest. And i'm only 5'6 135, a lil guy Duff knows he seen me before.

if you like slackin and party'n, go AF they got the best bases, best everything. My friend who is station at Fresno thats in the AF says its kinda a joke in the AF, 6 week basic, 3 month tech school. if ur lazy and aren't looking to get bigger - AF all the way, heck, i even though about joining the AF till the recuirter was out to lunch and the marine recuirter pulled me in Man was that fishy

If it wasnt for the fact that your a Marine and in WI, I would thing you were me. 5'6 at 135. All the other ****s easy, but Im a smoker and cant run to save my life. Well, not true. I got hella strong legs and got speed. But I get winded real fast.
