i know anything can be fixed but at what price?
the two cars posted in this thread are worth well over 15k. so if it cost 10k to fix its still worth it in some people opinion. but i dont think its worth it to spend 7-8k to fix a car that is worth 5k.. i can get a shell for 2k or less so i guess so its prob. not logical to fix this one.. all it really has left is sentimental value..

guys keep posting cars that are valued more then the s14 is now. so that race prepped bmw is worth getting repaired over buying another 3 series and building a cage for it etc. and same for that sti perhaps.

same situation had a front end damage on my s14 and trying to revive it. i hear you guys say you can get a shell but it all depends where your from but in cali finding a s14 shell is impossible because everyone wants one just because. plus dont toss it in the junk yard since the s14 are a dying breed.
by the way its not a s13 where there shells and parts all over the place like ants.. |

Doesn't make sense to me to part it all out then re build it. All that matters on a kouki is the front end anyway. Salvage what body parts you can then swap to another shell. Id rather have a "kit kouki" with a straight unibody than an original that's been stretched, pounded and rebuilt. It will be cheaper and less headache in the long run. I had a mint Z31 turbo that got plowed. I cried then let it go. Wasn't worth fixing.

so after almost a year of not having the s14 and driving a ghey 335i
i should of fixed my s14, to find a clean s14 is hard, my damage was fixable, i should of committed to making it a full blown race car, pull the frame back, tube chassis the front and added wide rear fender overs.. done and done. now that im in the market for another s14 its hard to find a good one with no rust, or damage, i purchased another s14 with front end collision thinking it wasnt to bad. turns out that that to needs to be pulled before i can fix it.. so im in the same boat again.. i just may sell this new one and wait and keep looking for a non- hit s14..

I know people say find a shell but your on the EC.
I would have just pulled the frame. Shit our cars have so much suspension adjustment you can kinda get the frame straight then use the alignment to get to drive straight especially if it was just gonna be a track car.
