I have completly torn mine apart in the parking lot of my apt complex. My block is on my porch, head and turbo stuff is in my bedroom, everything else is just kinda scattered wherever. Pain in the ass, but you have to do what you have to do.

How did that turbo elbow work out? Im running a KA-T also and just havent figured out the exhaust and turbo elbow part. Did you make your own down pipe?

What emissions stuff did you take off for the turbo kit and what vacuum lines did you remove or plug? Anything else like that necessary for prepping for KAT? That's my only worry.

clean up that engine bay, upgrade to poly rack bushings, change your steering column bushing to a solid one and do whatever else you can while that motor is out haha

I haven't done it yet sir. There's a drift series I'm in for beginners here, and I don't need power yet, plus I can't build a reliable car when I'm in school full time senior year working on my senior design project for the Formula SAE Hybrid competition.

So, when winter comes around and I have a break, I'll probably pull the motor, take off the intake manifold and replace the upper portion with an s14 one deleting the butterfly valves and the PCV tree. Then I'll probably run a one-way check valve from the pcv box on the front cover into the intake manifold. That's if I have enough time, otherwise I'll just block it off. I swear man, there is no thread with a full how-to on a ka-t build. There's just a bunch of general garbage. If I have time, I may also write a how-to. I've PMed some people about this and just gathered knowledge from a few places. I want my motor and ka-t setup to run reliably so when Pro-am comes around my car won't be down. I only get paid by my sponsor when I appear lol

I wish that you lived in California because I'd be so down to help so that I could learn.

Sounds like a fun project man! In my research I've found a lot of useful threads that I take pieces out of to get the job done. But in my experience so far ill definitely say that doing it nyself is where I learned the most. I keep a binder full of receipt and how to I've found online. If you have any questions ill b more than happy to help. Have you created a acct on ka-t.org? There's tons of info and knowledgeable guys on there! And I'd just love to b in Cali lol you guys have everything there

I dislike ka-t.org. I'm not a noob or anything I just feel it's unorganized and it contains the general garbage I was referring to earlier lol.

And thanks dude. I shall be hitting you up with questions. The main part that sucks is my parents hate everything drifting oriented is it just makes my life that much harder. Even though I'm sponsored they still don't care lol.
