yeah regular syncromesh is fine. just go buy the pennzoil brand. same thing, but cheaper. i have also heard the texaco brand is the same thing too. haven't confirmed that though.

hey how often do u change ur guyses trans fluid. i juss bout mai car wid 87k nd now i hav 90 somtin k nd i still havnt changed the trans fluid. nd im sure the previous owner ddnt cahgne it too.

opt for the pennzoil. much cheaper and you can find it at autozone.

I've been running Redline lightweight shockproof for about a year now.. no complaints, still feels great.

I change my tranny, differential, coolant, and power steering every 30k miles.

do you have an LSD? If so, what type? If you have a clutch type LSD, you should be changing your Diff oil about every 2,000 miles. Otherwise, sounds good. I don't think you need to change PS or coolant that frequently... I guess it couldn't hurt either though.
