Very cool! We have a 87fc also and have been thinking about doing an sr swap. I agree, you should get the hatch again and get that wing. Who makes it?

Dont know if anyone really even follows this anymore.. Well im currently deployed for the next 4 months and have been for the last 2 months. Have had my buddies at my shop do some work too it. My engine harness was tore the hell up from being old so i bought a brand new one, got some s5 tails, sold the old cage and traded for a 2 way cusco diff, and just little things here and there. Big plans when i get back though. Throwing my angle kit on, full pbm solid subframe bushings, pbm camber arms, stance coils, and disco potato or s15 turbo with supporting mods. Gonna be some fun times

Forgot to mention, I picked up some Supernow tie rod ends for $60 and some rack spacers! Gonna pair it up with some JTP knuckles for getting that good angle

Well havent had any updates in a while lol mostly cuz im deployed till october. But anyhow while my car is sitting in my shop collecting dust. Im over here buying random parts that i need for it and jumping on deals that i see. Well i ended up picking up some stance ss coils from a member on here with less then 2k miles for 950 shipped along with FINALLY finding a aero bumper back home from someone i knew for about 50 bucks. Also picked up some brand new Isis turbo lines, another boost gauge, and a megan turbo elbow all for $75 shipped on zilvia. LOL love the crackhead prices on here.

Oh and also jumped on a deal to buy a sparco seat from a friend for a $100 and finally another rear hatch.. since i regrettably sold mine to fund my engine build at the time. Other then that nothing much has been happening and just waiting to come home and get done with this car.

i painted it myself. Used dry ice to get all the sound deadoning off and then primer and painted it with 2x cover gloss paint. I need to do it again with clear coat though. Cause its coming off from working it it so much

and ya i been building it since it was a shell lol. blew my sr in january and then rebuilt the sr with all forged bottom end and bored it out. Car should be a beast wen i put my big turbo and stuff on it

Since so many people have asked about my custom crossmember and custom steering rack support. Id thought id post some pics up of it all. So enjoy!

Directly in front:

^^ as u can see in this pic the stock fc crossmember has been hacked off to only include the sides. Then a custom crossmember in the back has been welded in with stock 240sx mount points and the custom front steering rack support has been welded in as well

Left side where the steering rack mounting bars are welded to the old fc subframe:

Now the only thing that sucks about the steering rack mounting bar is that i cant use a regular aftermarket oil pan for a SR. I would have to make a custom one which im going to do soon. But stock one works for now. Also dont mind how dirty the shop and car are lol. Im deployed now so my car just sits in the back of my shop and my friends are dirty as hell haha but anyways hope that helps everyone

ive been debating wat motor i wanna put into my fc3s this winter, i dont wanna go v8 again so its sr20/1jz/2jz/13b rew, wish i had more access to a welder... great job on the build keep it up
