Why the pink? I mean, really. Is there some symbolism behind the pink? Did your girlfriend pick it like Chillaxed240 said or is it a cherry blossom thing (like the STi logo/color), or what? It's not my thing but that doesn't matter if you like it.

My opinion is that it needs some sort of contrasting outline around the silver so that it doesn't look out of place. Maybe a gunmetal edge or something? Hot rod guys paint edges of flames or stripes for a transition from one color to another and I think that would really help it look better. Just my opinion but I thought I'd throw it out there as something for you to consider.

What no one seems to realize, which is the funny part, is that Jay let them put the stripe on to help advertise for nickelmedia and to do a few test shots for them. Advertising, nothing more. If you've followed any of the threads in here you'd know that. He's not keeping it forever, nor is anyone going around claiming power gains, good looks, more ass, or anything by applying them. It's a picture of a car, that's it.
If Greddy offered you kids a free turbo if you ran a few graphics on your car for a couple days, are you all saying you wouldn't do it? Bullshit, you'd be lining up for whatever color they had.

Now that I'm able to post in here. . .

1) You guys need to check what you say BEFORE you post in this thread. That "riced out" s14 will undoubtedly rape 99% of your little toys, so if he wanted to stick Rainbow Brite on the side of his car, he could do so.

2) The purpose of vinyl is to be TEMPORARY. That's the beauty of it. You seem to forget that difference between vinyl and paint.

3) Yes, we drove from Atlanta to Orlando for silver and pink stripes and reddening of Jay's taillights. And yes, it was definitely worth the gas.

4) AdvanceG did an awesome job of applying their vinyl to that s14 and the purpose of us taking the car down there was to let them take the pictures to prove it. Fantastic job, guys!

5) THAT JOB WAS FOR ADVERTISING THEIR WORK. These guys have some of the most flamboyant stripes and splashes you could ever not want, and they also have the most awesome NISMO stripe that none of you guys would ever burn. As with any company that offers custom work, you pick which pieces you like. I am sure that plenty of Honda drivers love the gay stuff and since that makes AdvanceG money, who are you to hate on it?

You boys need to keep your posts and your opinions on this amazing car's stripe in perspective. (304whp 290 f/lb torque)

Exactly. There comes a point in the hierarchy of tuned cars where you can add whatever you want to its outside. I think that if some of these guys got their "breakfast stepped on" by this car, they would fail to mention it in the few times they repeated the story.

It adds insult to injury if you ask me..
