4'' spacers!! is that freaking safe? i read that 25mm would be the largest you should go considering safety..

btw. coupes with bolt on flares look hardcore!

Koguchi ran like 40mm spacers on the rear of his green D1 180sx.

He had the biggest, lowest offset Nismo LM-GT4 wheels, which were like 18x10.5 +10, and he has 70mm over fenders for the rear (it's like a 50mm M sport or Origin blister fender, with the JDM Rice bolt on flare style on top of it), so he had to use like 40mm bolt on spacers to flush out the rear wheels.

And he's making over 400 rwhp too, so if he does it, I think it's safe for us to do it

Best thing I could find on short notice. It's a small pic, but you can clearly see the widebody fenders AND flares.

That's the thing, it's 1 piece. The flares are molded onto the blister wide fenders, to give you 70mm of widening.

The same thing is done for the front fenders, and I belief the front fenders are 50mm over fenders.

Koguchi Power body parts are hardcore people. Remember that

This thread is one of the driving forces behind me wanting Flares for my Coupe. Keep the pics coming. Here's a few I have collected over time.

And of course the craziest flares ever!!

Now everybody else: Make with the Picures! I need to add to my collection.

I have a 95 Nissan 240SX SE & I'm putting a SR20DET in my car in 4 wks. My goal is to hit 425 rwhp by 9/1/06. Anyone has any recommendation for the tire setup I should go w/. I know I want 18's but I'm not sure of the width/specs to run low 12s.

+1.

Get some wheels that actually will make those wide fenders worth it.

It doesn't look good.

Thumbs down

i have a same set of flares brand new never used them as i sold the car before i got around to put them on, identical ones on bomex180's car, from the same manufacturer, $200 for all 4. With this you can pretty much run any wheel, tire size.. btw i'd like to get info where to get overfenders like some of you have picture in this thread that run along the fenders from edge to edge and come w/a lip that connect to it.. not at home right now, but have a picture of exactly what im talking about that i'll post later, if someone can identify the brand and maker that would be awesome.. i'd be down to run that anyday :-) but i'm sure it costs an arm an a leg

p.s. why do i have a thumbs down in my post? weird?

yep, have a same set sitting in the garage.. dont think i'll be using it anytime soon as i have such a long way to go with the car, and tons of priorities ahead of overfenders so may as well sell them if someone else is ready to use' em! let me know if you want them!

I want those Sam! If they haven't sold by next month, I'm gonna be all over them.

Someday, I might even be able to afford wheels to fill them.

That black 180sx is beautiful. I didn't know that Watanabe's came in a size like that. I like the look of over-fender's, as long as they are around the same size as the black 180sx's.

IMHO, i've never been a fan of overfenders whatsoever. i'm more favorable to C-West "wide-wheels" guard arch's which is kinda somewhat similar to what JUN has to offer. A good alternative in my opinion...

a set of wats in good size and offset is $1,600+
brand new you can order them from takumi for $2,100+
there are reasons why things are "RARE"

barry, ya wheels for it would be over $2k, but the point of the N2 flare is to give you a super wide wheel base for gripping(haha).
