Specs: work xsa 03c 17x9 +10 w 215-40-17 Federal 595
work xsa 03c 18x10 +10 w 235-40-18 Federal 595 The rear looks great, the front, I am not happy with the stretch, the lip is still recessed even with a 215-40 on a 17x9... well who cares the rims are hot PICS: |

hey Wanted some help from the guys witha lot of experience stretching tires i am running 235/35/19 on a 19x10-26
and a 275/30/19 on a 19x12-46 and the tire side wall doesnt touchthe inner edge of the rim/lip, is this safe or ok? i know most of my old stretches always touched i was never able to see the barrel , but this is the first time..i added some pics i kept the psi at 50-55 is that enough?yes i know there is a tire sretch thread but that thread has died down compared to this one and most of the users are all the same anyways..any help is appreciated.

yea they are ..or will be , i got those as a package deal with the rims..
but yes.. I have been in the game for a while but, never seen tires stretch but leave a gap like these..or maybe never paid attention, never needed to have such an agressive stretch before since i had 18's now 19's are a totally different story, doing a custom 80mm widebody for the rear.and a 50mm for the front and thanks 240KA, just wanted to make sure it was ok..

Get a 50mm spacer rather than your 33mm.

Damn, I'm going to miss seeing your car with those. If only your fronts were more aggressive, I'd try whoring myself out to buy them.

225/35/18 ns-2's have way more clearance than my 225/40/18 feddy's, almost too much.
Just installed 5-lug, z-brakes, emotions, and new coils. I still need need to mess with ride height and camber.

federals have crazy thick sidewalls, screws with your fitment hardcore lol.
i destroyed a wheel bearing when i changed to feds because they scrubbed so much. (drifting, not just driving) Wound a bit more camber in to clear. Might change back to kumho. 4th gear isn't loved so much by feds, too sticky. |
