I think with a 20mm fender and another degree of camber it will fit just fine, if I had 30's it would be perfectly flush. and they're so deep! But because I am not running rear widebody 30mm fenders would probably look retarded. and 18x11 -7 out back from what I've learned about these wheels and their sizing chart is this. The width of the wheel determines the depth of the lip not the offset when you're in the negatives. so hub clearance should stay the same the barrel position changes based on the offset. maybe that's how it works with all wheels I dunno. Either way they're nice wheels, about 25lbs a pop and high construction quality and you can for fucking get trying to stuff 4 of these boxes in a 240 to take them anywhere. I'm going to keep running 265's out back on the 11s and most likely will go with a 235 up front with the 10s'. I don't care if someone has the same wheels as me, especially if you ponied up the 4 grand to run a set on your car. You worked for it and you deserve it. |

I'm going to run just q45/J30 size brakes. I've had Great Sucess with those on my other cars. Not Big at all and its Not a Drift/grip car.Strictly a Quick town car basically. I'm going by the WEDS chart and the Lip in mm (outer rim Size) at the top of the Chart and Width has some to do with the Amount, but They can Be super Deep on a moderately Wide wheel. My VSKF's and all wheels Basically are similar in sizing/lip/offset. heres what I'm looking at: *19x9 FF -23 has a 106mm lip in front which is a 4.1 inch lip (Minus a few mm for wheel faceDisc thickness off that). *19x10 FR -32 has a 131mm Rear lip is a ball hair above 5 inches. this may be good for clearance and Moderate camber With out wasting a shit ton of tire and Filling in the 30mm Fronts & 50mm rears based on what I can see. ie. My Rear 18x9.5 +13 VSKF's on my S13 have 106mm rear lip and Its pretty damn big.But I need bigger on all 4 for the Wide fenders. Thanks..I love the wheels and can not see accepting something else but the more I see yours and Marc's Will help. $3000+ for wheels,..then they Need to be/fit perfect IMO and will Stay with the car when sold is the bottom line I've Decided. CAN You guys snap a pic of your front LIP's so i can see how big they are??

Simone : My 1996 240sx: Test Fitting at Jordan Innovations. Personally NismoKidd bought a set of LXZ's and he got the flat faced fronts and in pictures they didn't look bad. In person he said he HATES them and is actually looking to sell the whole set and just re-order in different sizes. I did a lot of research before I bit the bullet, the lip I don't think is much different from my volks, technically the lips are an inch wider in front and a lot deeper out back now that I can ditch my spacers almost 2 inches back there. But mind you the spokes are going to take up 40 percent of whatever it says the lip is. Don't think that you're just going to have deep ass lips because you picked a huge negative number. The flats people run super retarded offsets in like -20's and they will fit flush with fenders like my fronts but you'd be amazed at how disappointing that 20 looks and how much brake clearance you have wishing you got an FR faced wheel for the front. My whole attraction to these wheels is they are 3 piece, lipped, and concave. as opposed to slightly convexed like my current wheels. IntecRacing also has a zenki with the wheels on it but the owner wont tell anyone what sizes he runs. grant wilson aka yokotas13 has owned like 15 pairs of LXZs' because he fails at life but is a boss in the jdm wheel game back in like '07 before we all started jocking steez, hit him up for any more info regarding these wheels as he helped me out with mine. |

So in your Blog you have/had only 12mm front vertex fenders in that Pic?? Judging by your Size choice & weds chart, You have 93mm FR face lips on the front w/ your 18x10 -3 I would be 19x9 -26 (106mm lips)FF face(on a 9" wide and Offset calculator states it would stick out another 7mm than yours) *30mm fronts be ok with only slight camber you think would be plenty? Did you end up getting bigger front fenders? I guess I could even go FR face -20 at the same lip and Still clear some Decent/q45 size Brakes. Rears I believe it will be, 19x10 -26 will stick out the Exact same amount as your size, and have the same amount of lip as yours going by the WEDS chart. Are you going to Run 50mm rears?Does yours need more fender with your fitment?

Don't understand why you guys love running 10's up front! Does anyone running low on s14 have issues with the frame rail below the strut tower at front?
My tyres scrub/get stuck at anything more than about 3/4 lock, wipes off speed and chews tyre! Setup is: 17x9 -3 w 215/40 595 RS-R, -2.5 camber 17x9+10 w 215/45 zeta/rapid/jinyu etc don't know camber slight pull and lots of hammering. Heyman Knuckles Front Sway disconnected, rear on stiff Full cage/braces etc 8kg/6kg BC's changing up to 17x9 & 18x10 avs 5 for next event. You can see fair bit of smoke from fronts haha. Thoughts? More camber? Stiffer springs? Bigger Hammer? Raising is not an option! CBF tubbing, still a street car. |

The only way to combat that is space the wheel out more, or make a bump stop for your knuckle so the wheel cannot turn that far. As far as rubbing on your fenders, more camber will help that (as would pulling them out some with a fender roller/hammer), hooking up your front sway bar might help as well - to keep the car from rocking back and forth. I hate the way my car feels with no front sway bar.

I mean the flat rail directly above the tyres, I'm not too sure what else to call it? No issues with clearance horizontally if that makes sense haha!
Fender doesn't bother me.. it's the tyre getting stuck on the frame above it. Prefer how the car handles with swaybar off. |

If the camber is at a ridiculous level to where I don't feel safe in the rain then I will most likely get a wider set of front fenders and dial it out. I have yet to see the wheels with tires and on the ground settled, just with the weight of the car on the rim. Who knows it may end up fitting perfect with minimal poke. Quote:
8mm more seriously is slightly enough to cover my wheels at probably .5 degree's more of camber. Quote:

If I could just neutralize the rear toe just a tad I wouldn't be burning sidewalls If anything vertex ridge may be an option in the future but I would have to spend some decent coin converting a lang front bumper to fit the widebody by chopping up 1800 dollars worth of front bumpers and molding them together like Non Fujita did with his skyline front. I hate free hanging corner light bumper designs. |

Haha, that's my car. I don't have any problems since I did that, but I was definitely having issues before hand. You can beat the shit out of it with a sledge hammer but that's about all you can do if you don't have a means to weld it back up with other metal.

Dont see why not...lowest I've run up front is 17x10 +4 without overfenders. Just be prepared to beat the living crap out of the inners if you want to clear the insides at full lock.

Will I be able to run a 10mm spacer in my rears with this spec I'm running 17x9.5 with a +12 offset, and tire size are 215/40 my rears are rolled with a slight pull adding the spacer will drop the the offset to a +2 and oh yea I'm on the stock rucas so the camber that it currently has is being done all by itself, thanks in advance for any input.

Whats up gents. I'm lookin for a little info on some wheels/fitment I plan on getting. Been creepin around for a few weeks (a few years without many posts if you look at join date lol) looking at different peoples setups and forum posts n stuff, figured I'd throw it out there and ask.
I want to get a set of XD-9s. Was lookin at getting 17x9.5 +17 all around. I'm kind of clueless when it comes to wheels so not sure about the difference between +17 and +28 offsets. Plan is just for daily driving and a few autocross events here and there. Would like to be flush, maybe tuck a little bit, not sure yet, but it doesn't really matter. 95 S14 chassis, megan coils, rucas, rolled fenders front and back, the usual crap. I guess what I'm wanting to know is - 1. will they fit without any problems and/or what kind of spacers would i need to push them out flush to clear coils if needed. Not really wanting a ton of camber wear on tires. 2. what size tires would be optimal for daily use and some occasional stickyness for autocross events (moderate stretch i'm cool with) Here's how it looks the way it sits on stockies. Any input is welcome. Thanks |

Get the +17 offset wheels so you wont have to run spacers. Then up to you what you want for tire setup. You can either go the same size all around or you can stagger the tire sizing. Pretty much personal preference. Some folks doesnt like staggered tires on non-staggered wheel sizing. I'd range between 225/45 or 235/45.
Personally, I wanted to run a staggered 17/18 setup of XD9s a loooooong time ago. My plan was to go 17x9.5 +17 in the front and 18x10 +18 rears, 225/45-17 Dunlop Star Specs up front and some 235/40-18s in the rear. Again this is my personal opinion, some hate staggered sizing since you cant rotate tires around. |
