I've seen a bit of media from Tennessee events before and I want to get out there BAD to shoot for Last Stance. Once we get some funds we'll start making some trips up in GA and surrounding states.

I'm going to the drift event then the week before that, WARRIOR DASH! Is anyone going to that?
And hopefully before the drift event I can get another diff to weld, find a VLSD for cheap, or just go open diff.... Either way I should be going.

I was gonna do warrior dash, but ive had 2 knee surgeries and thought j was good but i went running last week and it crapped out on me again. :'(

my car is in peices at the moment, finished the motor up last saturday, have a few pieces to put on the car then gonna drop the motor and tranny in...

Bad thing is i'm not gonna have time to fix the body or paint it before i come out there so the car is gonna look like junk

joe, I have a multimeter and am USMC trained as an electrical technician (equal to 16 US Army MOS's in Helicoptors, Aviaonics, and Flgihtline and Hanger ops). I know my way around most electrical stuff on cars, but not the ECU(That would be Martin of RS Enthalpy)

I start classes Monday, but am off Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 1330. Homework aside, I have time for another gearhead who loves his Silvia

joe2, missed seeing you friday night, but met some pretty decent people.
Have you taken the dash panel out and checked each wire? Was talking to a friend and he said same thing I was thinking...your dash panel has broken down wire and may be shorting to ground so you get intermittent or no power to the dash panel. Only fix is to replace the wire/plugs, or go big and exchange the dash harness out

Saw the post in the Zenki thread...man, totally dissed Grimm. So what if a bunch of kids have cars that are not all the way down and totally worked over. Small paychecks take time to get parts. Shoot, not one person hacked my Zenki and that fucker is totally stock with nothing more than painted wheels and calipers with a cheap exhaust.
One thing I can say for TN and around here is we all got grease under our fingernails because we do most of our work ourselves(big jobs if I got cash, well yeah, I do the Cali thing and pay someone else)

I live in cali and ya everyone pay to have work done... but note in parts if they see you even do oil change or light bulbs u have to hide ...

cant wait in 2 week i be in knoxville

The only thing the Friday night meet up is missing is the fun. That meet needs to be moved out to the business/industrial parks where the roads have som enice straight parts and some good corners. I am NOT recommending any kind of , uh hmm, illegal activity, just sayin is all...

Have about 3 more weeks before i leave here and still have an open engine bay. Been really really busy working on the motor. I am hoping this coming weekend when we drop the engine and tranny in, it will be easy work to put the intercooler piping in and relocate the battery to the trunk so i can at least get her running...
