I have been by a few times on weds but the place looked dead.

I fixed my car this weekend, with the help of my friends,so once the car is smoged and regestered I will be out.

I helped out a guy last weekend who I thought was coming from the meet, but turns out he did not even know of the meet. He said he is on zilvia and his name is auto, but I could not find him.

I will make this as short as possible.
He was driving northbound on walnut, and was parked with the emergency lights on.
I pulled over to help. Turns out he does not know how to fix the car, just that the altinator belt was screaming. I pop the hood see it is an sr and tell him we need to get the car off the main street asap to avoid being hassled by the brass. He replies with " there are cops out here?" So I push his car past the private comunity and into the Ralph's parking lot. Immidiatly after the cops show up and at first were dicks, asking if i had been arrested and had me put my hands on my head turn around and he grabbed my arm placed it behind my back as if to cuff me. After my background cleared and so did the kids, he turned his attention towards the car.

Asked the kid if there were drugs or weapons in the car, kid says no, cop sees the boost gauge and asks for him to pop the hood. First thing the cop notices is the air intake, asks if he has a carb sticker. Kid doesn't, he started getting caught up and when I thought he would get a ref ticket, I told the cop, I have the stock filter and airbox at home, and will put it on for him. Cop than acts cool and says, well since its having troubles and this guys is going to help you get it off the road, I ll let you go but if i stop you again and you still have that I will ticket you. As he walks away he says, yeah he is a racer. He had the modified air thing.

So I call my brother, ask him to bring my tools from his house. When he shows we get to work, turns out he just had the altinator replaced. But it was replaced with a ka altinator and did not have the hole drilled out or the sr pulley put on it, was chewwing up his belt, and the tensioner was ghetto rigged with a washer and a screw. So I jumpstart the car, he drives it a quarter mile to my brothers place. It makes it, the altinator belt screaming like a banshee the entire way.
When we take a better look, we notice he is missing the goldish colored adjuster screw for the altinator, we though he was s.o.l but than we took the bolt from Bryan Roger's and Andrew Ferguson's seriousbadass.com racecar. We just give it to him to help him out and my brother even gave him a stock sr20 alt belt.
Got the car fixed gave the auto kid my phone numbner and my brothers number incase he needs any other work done on the car.

I was wondering if anyone knows who this guy is? Cause he was in the area and want to find out if the guy ever got the sr pulley and if the car is still running okay. well I will see you guys soon. take it easy and have fun tonight.
