The "progressive" mind set had no end. It is simply to "move away from what is accepted today".

So in 5 years when 7rds is the norm, and people are still finding creative ways to kill each other, your right, they'll ban magazines all together.

Then they will say "we'll who hunts out past 100 yards any ways..." and we will see a "sniper rifle" ban....

And before you know it, we will end up like England. You can buy one of 30 approved firearms and then have it kept at your certified government controlled shooting range. You check it out of the armory, fire your obseenly over taxed ammunition and return it to the armorer when done....see 2nd amendment in tack - you can still own a gun.

Irony is if the liberals used the same standard of interpratation on the 2nd amendment as they do on the 1st, it would be our right to own nuclear warheads.

Even though I am very surprised by living in liberal state, I do feel very proud of this Oregon Linn County Sheriff and do support our 2nd amendment till the end of this Government non-sense.

I really think the states changing their laws before a federal change is a sure sign that they are scared that the shit won't fly in congress.

Senators are flying back to their states to drum up support to change gun laws. Funny thing is that states out west are considering reducing restrictions...

They will just amend an exemption before the law goes into effect. The point is that they rushed this bullshit through because any debate would have shown the law is stupid.
