That just proves that CO civil servants are dumb. There's a very good chance that this car is in fact titled & registered in CO as a Silvia. They had the same sort of confusion with mine when I brought it to CO. They didn't really care about the missing VIN on the replacement dash, nor the odometer being in KM's and drastically different from the last reported mileage on my CA title. They kinda just treat it like, if the car's more than 15 years old, it can't really make much difference. As long as you pay up and get it through the emissions testing you're fine. I laughed the other day when I came out to a notice from parking enforcement about my expired tags the other day written up for a "Honda Integra"

Not an awful lot wrong with painting your new discs with heat resistant paint to protect the centers from rusting, not sure why you'd want to do your pads and unnecessarily ruin your mother's lovely lawn in the process though.

Doesn't really matter as tapping the brake once when they're fitted will rub the paint off the actual braking surface.

I don't see the issue spraying pads down with a brake silencer if that is in fact what that stuff is, spraying the rotor is downright idiotic.

Edit: but on a second glance all he did is spray the backing plate, my guess is its disc brake quiet and he definitely did it wrong as you are only suppose to hit the backing plate and nothing else

He could've been more considerate and laid down some old newspaper though before getting jiggy with that white spray paint.
