Ask and ye shall receive!
Forged 6.1L Iron Block 370 LSx, T6 GT4788 and shaved bay. Going in soon once I finish up my ETP thick deck heads. Shooting for 1,000whp. When it was mocked up before I did the bay... 4" downpipe. |

Looks pretty serious! X2 on a build thread?
ALED - sorry if it's been asked, but what is your suspension and wheel/tire combo?

Santos I know I are already asked about this but I am trying to find a transmission bushing/solid mount to use. I am using a mazworx vg/sr trans kit and I can't seem to find an aftermarket bushing that fits the cross member. All of the mounts don't fit flush on the cross member. The only bushing that seems to fit is a stock oem style bushing. For obvious reasons I don't want a stock bushing.
Just looking for a little insight because I just bought a z1 motorsports solid mount and it doesn't fit.

Lol agree, this younger generation-->drifting bandwagon has gotten out of control. If your tires arent as thin as a girls thong, your not dropped to the point that your bumper is kissing the floor, your car doesnt have some crazy body kit/mods, and your car isnt painted a candy color.......your not doing it right lmao!
SLO that is a BADASS build and anyone with a performance oriented brain would appreciate that type of work. Keep it up. |

LOL.. You guys won't believe how much criticism I get, especially on the boards. The stupid thing is, the first person to have negative things to say about my car is usually the first person who will come up to me in person and tell me how sweet my car is.

[QUOTE=S@nt0s;5092329]the mount from the Xmember to the trans or the chassis.
The bushing that attaches to the transmission/cross member.

Yeah, that's good. I should look into getting some slicks.
I'm running a nitto 555r radial at 14psi, still doesn't hook. My best 1/8 mile was 8.25 at 88.66mph with a 1.99 60' I'm running an sr20 with gt2871r at 17psi.

^^^^i take it your car is still running pretty good. I haven't seen you around I. A little while but I have been working graveyard for the past year though too.
Nobody has anything new? I am in the middle of installing energy suspension bushing kit, making a custom gauge bezel with all auto meter gauges and just ordered solid subframe bushings. Once all of this is done and the rear lower control arms are boxed in I am going to finish my fuel lines and fittings and the car should be just about ready.

My buddy that owns the local drag strip decided to throw a little "street race" event tonight just to keep us alive during the off season. Should be pretty fun. A couple friends are bringing out the zo6's and lots of boosted rides will be out. The low tonight in Baileyton, Alabama is 32°. Traction is going to be a joke lol.
I'm going to run my car just because it's finally together. No tune and only 6psi but it should be good to toy around with my buddy's 8 second s2000 (1/8 mile of course) |

Yeah, the car is still running good. I need to upgrade my walbro fuel pump to a supra fuel pump because its having a hard time feeding my 740cc injectors. Has some lean spots, but I keep my eye on the wideband at all times. Sounds like your car is coming together, you drop your motor in? How long till you get it running. I would like to check it out sometime. Will you have it ready for this season and run at Fallon?

Have you upgraded the factory wiring with heavier gauge and a new relay? The stock wiring seems to be a huge down fall and looses voltage the harder the pump works. It's a simple cheap upgrade and let's the Wally perform as it should.

Ya the car is finally coming together after sitting in my garage for over two years. Once the fuel lines are done I just need to get some powder coating done and send out my valve covers in order to make the the s13.4 hybrid. It should be already to go by this summer. I am hoping to get it tuned in April and then drive the crap out of it in order to break the motor in before throwing a bunch if boost at it. I posted pictures on here of the motor sitting in the engine bay they are in page 24 of this thread. I would think your Walboro should be enough pump for what you are doing. I would think the lean spots is your tune. I was making 400whp on a single Walboro and 720cc without any issues. Do uou know of any reputable places in Reno that tunes cars?
Foreign that sounds like fun. When I was heavy into street racing in Savannah we wished the local track would finally reopen. But the city shut it down for good because there were too many complaints from people that lived near the track because they said it was too loud. So everyone took the race to the streets and then the city got really pissed. Go figure.
