Agreed. Maybe if they where just straight cut and not triangled.

im kinda on the fence about these too. im not a fan of a tapered spoke but i love the offset and how concave they are. i'd probably rock them.

Is there a single person in this thread that likes these rims AND is over 25?

I think that says a lot about a company.

hmmm
I would say deep lipped baller rims are more fitting a "scene"
you kinda are contradicting yourself here.
I will be buying these rims for myself, I know no one will look at them as say OH SHIT ARE THOSE THE NEW XXR'S AWESOME SHIT!!!

were as if i was buying rotaforms or work eurolines or something similar i would be mostly buying them to fit a scene.
also, I am in a class this week getting MCITP certified, have an associates in computer sceinces, and already have my S+ certification, testing for my net+ in 2 months.
I'm pretty educated, BRO.

Well obviously your school smarts didnt translate to you making sound financial decisions that may put your life at stake. When did i say anything about "deep lipped baller rims" Thats all hellaflush bullshit too dummy.
Your not buying your rims for performance, and your not buying them because they look cool. So why the fuck did you buy them? Whos contradicting themselves?

I hope your rim breaks while your "drift racing".

Do you have any evidence that these XXR rims are unsafe? or is just your assumption that they are because of the price they sell them for?

Im sorry i mixed up my brands I dont know about XXR.

I have personally seen rotas break a couple times. I just lump all un-orginal knock off companies together. My bad.

*EDIT* I take that back I have seen sportmaxx'es break.

I hope they too, would make for a pretty sweet video.

actually my school smarts do!
i pay to better myself.
see the thing is, rather than waste money on shit i dont need, (like2000 dollar + rims)
I am spending money to better myself, GREAT financial desicion actually.
So no, sorry 1500 difference buys me a lot of books, certifications etc. and to me, that is a much smarter decision.

they look decent, are they hot shit? no, they look decent in decent sizes.
they are lighter then the competition (IE battles rotas etc)
they are around the same price too/cheaper
there, i gave you my reason.

XXR's are pretty sweet for the price...

I've ran rota's and they have held up just fine....Of course you will see a couple of broken wheel pics if you look hard enough, when compared to the hundreds of thousands they sold that's nothing....Ive drifted, raced, and dd'd on rota's with no problems whatsoever. XXR's as well as Rotas are cheap and most of the time heavy ass wheels, but that's it....Saying that there unsafe is BS, just by looking at broken wheel pics...Do you have any other proof? I'm pretty sure i can break ssr's if i tried hard enough...
