I'm sure he's referring to how low the shifter sits.

Are physically short shifters a new fad and/or is there an advantage to them that I do not know about?
Obviously the throw will be shorter simply due to the hand position being closer to the fulcrum point, but I thought people wanted tall shifters to place them closer to the steering wheel or whatever racer boy reason.

This is a serious question.

I don't see why it would do that. I had them in more than one of my 240's and never had that problem.

Been doing that that as early as 2008. No advantage, I just like the way it looks compared to the factory length, I got the idea from an e46 I seent.

Seems like lots of interiors are almost the same... I guess I can't really complain though because they look cool

Been working on my interior over the winter. Not as nice as some but it's coming together- Nardi wheel, Nismo shift knob and B&M short shifter (not pictured), Redline Goods shifter and ebrake boot, no-name pedal covers, Corbeau seats and headliner reupholstered...

Hoping to dye the carpet black when it warms up.

Sorry for crappy pics, I'm no photographer.

I have yet to experience an after market short shifter that feels as good as OE. Although the throw is shorter, the quality of the shift always feels worse.

I just switched back to the OEM shifter with a Cusco brass shifter bushing after running B&M, Tomei, and C's for years. Feels soooo much better, even just for cruising around on the street.

Pretty stoked to find a CF Origin rear seat delete. Just need to cut it for my NeXt Miracle cross bar and then I should be able to install it. Still waiting on my new seat to arrive as well...

Always wanted one of these. Was really happy to find one after hearing they've been discontinued. :/

Rough test fit:

Yes, according to Touge Factory. They have the upper back portion in stock but none of the other pieces. I am sure there could be a few retailers out there that still have them around, but who knows.I should have bought one years ago, lol.
