i too would like to see ur car on full TEs
edit: CONCAVE vs LIP i'm thinking about 17x9.5+12 / 18x10.5+15 TE37s in white. is there a reason why i shouldn't sell my wheels? for TEs? Last edited by nathanong87; 11-28-2010 at 08:33 PM.. |

hey dudes, i need some help. i broke my driver side jdm rain visor today.
im hoping there is some way i can find just the driver side. so i can avoid not having to buy a whole second set. BUT if i can not find just one soon enough i will be buying another set in a week or 2. so i will be selling a set of visors (drive side broken) its just cracked not bad. still looks how it should just a split in it. i will sell the set mad cheap so get at me if you want them. holla

As much as I like your car VS-KF's, white TE37's are one of my favorites and I think itd look super hot on them. Either way you come out a winner really.

Anyone got pics of how the light output looks with CS clear lenses on? I have HIDs if that improves the output at all... I want the lenses because of how nice they look, but I'm not too sure if the output is greatly decreased...

light output is tons better with clear lenses. except hey have crazy glares everywhere. but
i'm running mine with 6000k hids and aimed all the way down and i haven't gotten pulled over or been flashed from opposit direction traffic yet, and had the same setup since jan 2008. the output of light is not decreased, it's just un-filtered. zenki light reflector housings aren't made to have cut off, the lens cover itself does that. that's the reason for the glares.

that is the worst cutoff/output i have ever seen in my life ...
my OEM lights have a super sharp cutoff for lens optics style headlights

Why would the CS lens suck at night? All you are replacing is the lens cover, the reflector is going to be the same. I would think it would be better as most OEM lens covers are yellowed or faded.
Unless I am missing something. |

with clear lenses u are simply scattering light everywhere, hence the glare. the "right" way is to get some tsx projectors or something and retrofit them into the headlights as that will give you a defined cutoff! ^ kinda why i've kept my oem covers... when they are clear they look fine to me. it's when they yellow they look sucky. |

projectors have a natural cut-off line inside the projector housing.
as you can see, there's a little groove/plate that will cut off the light. compared to regular bulbs/hids, they do not have one and are needed for the OEM grooves. i remember there was a discussion like this, and i read something like when you run clear lenses with HIDs, you are driving around with a W that looks like the Wu-Tang Clan symbol.
