Ok guys i have a car that actually sparked my interest.. my friend posted pics on his facebook of this party he went to and he took a pic of 2 SNIP on a car but in the backround there is this car that almost looks like a datsun .. or an rx or something like that.. i cant figure out what it is.. maybe its neither of what i think it is but for some reason i want it.

Triump tr7 is the white car. Rusty car in the back is a Mazda rx3/ or a 70's celica

There should be an ID tag somewhere on the middle housing of the turbo that looks like this:

You can get the correct ID number that way and look it up.

One problem though

I found the P/N code which is 466541-0007
The only turbos from Garrett's site, that matches this code, are those

So the problem is that my turbo has A/R 42 and the two ones from Garrett's site, have A/R 64..
So which actually is my turbo??

Sorry if it is a damp question, but don't know much about turbos

Top 2 are idas

middle looks like 2 single bbl carbs

bottom looks like a 32/38 webber or mikuni carb

question is, why do you have 3 different carb setups?

Did a little searching on this as well...looks like Cannon is a company that makes manifolds for triple webbers. So thats basically ITBs but you have carburetors so that's not the right wording.

I typed in garrett AR 42 M27 in google and there were lots of threads with people asking what it was. The most common answer was 300ZX turbo, so I typed 300ZX turbine in google images, and sure enough there were more pictures of the same turbo you have on there.

Edit - I just redid my search the same way and I cannot replicate my results. It also looks like the 300ZX has a M24 housing not the M27.

Its probably a z32 t25 with a t28 center, its a super common setup that z32 guys run for more power without going single and changing a bunch of stuff.
