That sucks man. This was no random jacking.. someone probably has a map of all the places with 240s.. On average I would see 3-4 modified 240s drive past my house since I live near a college... people would drive slow past my house too I felt uncomfortable. i got rid of my 240 before anything could happen. I miss her, but i feel its for the best.
yes I know what you mean!! Im actually thinking of selling mine, so I will not have to worrie about this any more. The cops are not really any help. We even called them yesterday to report another cars stolen parts were in my car with his papers, but they seem to be more intrested in giving loud exhaust tickets. But the actual cops at the police station are being very helpful. It seems since I turned in and showed the papers to the police station, then told them the story of all these stolen cars, and them all being related etc, they are now treating this as if its some type of gang crime. I even had stolen motorcycle registraion in my car, so this is interesting. I just heard another s13 was stolen in the same area (berryessa area) on the same night as my car. and it was most likely these guys. so that is over 5 cars that I know of. My car came back with a blown clutch, with out side skirts, they stole my wheels, my deck, cup holder, pennies, etc. I think I got lucky, something must have scared them, because alot of parts are only held on by one bolt, so they were prob planning to come back to get the rest of the parts, and eaither the car was gone when they got back, or ther were scared. It seems like alot of people are in on this, it is not just a couple of guys. O and to the guys who did this, since your prob reading this post, I just wanted to say hello...

Yea, These cars are on the hot list for thieves.

Sorry about the loss, I'm putting cut off switches everywhere.

only if we could ID the type of van, cause i spotted a dark van sneaking around my hood, it barely stopped at the stop sign and took off quickly. i got paranoid.

so, i looked it up (using wikipedia). i think its a ford but, im unsure.

if they ever decide to sell it, we can track it.
