So much fun, so pretty, and so funny.

It's everything the trailer offered, and more. Didn't think Spritle and Chim Chim were going to be so awesome.

He does the fucking pose too, it's greatness.

I wanted a nod to the Geico commercial in some way, too bad there wasn't anything.

Saw the movie... Thought it was pretty crappy.... Middle was really boring, ending was ok and beginning was ok....

i remember they did a remake of the cartoon sometime in teh 90s and i watched that and it was kinda cool.. maybe ill have to see this movie

Go into it with no expectations. It's first and foremost a movie for kids and family, then it's for fans of the show.

That is the best method. I always do that so I wont be disappointed. There have been a few times in the past where everyone boosts a movie so high, so I expect a lot from it. Then when I see it, it's a disappointment to me.

THIS SHIT WAS DOPE!!! its weird though cause for me it was one of those movies where you are watching and its kinda like whatever...but when you leave the theatre you realize "damn that was really good"

Its a great movie and honestly im glad it was made the way it was. It would of been lame if they tried to make it all serious.

GO WATCH IT!

my personal opinion is that the greatest thing about the cartoon is 1) the mach 5 itself 2) the insane races and the ungodly distances and obstacles. the movie looks cheesy x8 but thats probably the only way to convey the world of speedracer in live action since it would essentially be fast & the furious without the way out there races and stuff. all of us old enough to recall growing up on the reruns and whatnot also have to realize the movie exists to make money and connect with kids of today. they could have bridged the gap a bit better though. after transformers, theres no excuse for that much disconnect, PG rated or not.

sidenote: i will check it out just to see if they have the mammoth car in a race!

bad news, no mammoth car. there IS an enormous semi that i think was supposed to kind of resemble it.

just saw it in imax again with a couple d00ds. the reaction from everyone i've talked to so far about it has been "i thought it looked/sounded horrible but i enjoyed it anyway". really sucks this movie's bombing, i love it.
