What Kind of cars has your car been mistaken for.

As far as I can recall, my car has been mistaken for a Z and an SC300 (and it's a frikkin' '92 hatch!). I was rather happy wieth the second one. I used to mistake FCs for 240sx's from the front. Gotten beyond that though :P

And yes, most folks who ride in my car think it's a V6, but not enough know enough about cars for them to even think about fwd vs rwd.

I have those funky erebuni sideskirts on mine (testarossa looking ones)-they came on the car. People always ask me what kind of Porsche I have, and I tell them, its a JDM one. Then they're trully boggled.

On a good note, I love these cars. Everyone thinks they are more exotic than they are.

Hehe.. that's pretty bad but it's twice as bad with my MR-2.

Mechanic: Pop the hood.
Me: It's popped.
Mechanic: Don't screw me with son, pop the hood.
Me: *gets out of car and opens engine lid*
Mechanic: *puzzled look*

I get Probe in the MR-2 all the time too. :/ You'd think they'd notice the Toyota badges or the fact that THE ENGINE ISN'T EVEN IN THE FRONT OF THE CAR. Anyway.. I guess an MR-2 might look a bit like a 240sx fastback from the front but an older Celica probably looks a little more like them (not that either have a striking resemblence to them).

yup, sure is. The shape of the headlights is similar to that of a zenki s14. Still though, i dont how anyone could confuse a mini-van with a 2-DOOR SPORTS CAR!

i wonder who has it worst, the s13 or s14 guys. I kinda think the s14 because I'd hate to be asked all that skyline and silvia conversion stuff from the local riceboy. Us s13s just get the probe(hatch) and prelude, integra(coupes). THEN AGAIN, sometimes my car does looks like an FD RX7

Just the other day some kid leaned out of his car on the free way and yelled to me, "NICE SUPRA" and all I said was thanks. Cuz God knows i wish i could afford a 2JZ.
