change my mind. build a 240 and let your grandfather keep the cressida. it will probably stay in a lot better shape, compared to anything you plan to do to it.

I predict you will maybe get halfway through (if that) with the cressida and realize how much time and money you wasted. and how you should've just stuck with what you knew which was an s chassis. money wise, you will get a lot further with an s chassis.

i saw BC coilovers when i looked up cressida coilovers, but don't know much about the company, otherwise i would have pointed that out.
even more reason to get the cressida if they're a good suspension manufacturer.

more unique car, yup.

i still say get the cressida. it's hard to find a good s13 these days, that isn't over $3000 (at least in socal. oh and manual of course)

^^^ yeah thats the other reason, I always like to start my projects from stock if I can, and its getting harder and hard to find a stock 240 in decent shape unmolested for good price

My daily is a 89 Cressida rite now. its slammed on 18's, power seat/windows/sunroof, r154 tranny, exhaust, full interior, big trunk, everything works...can't complain. Just looks like shit lol
