I dunno this really doesn't sound legit... Reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and assault these are not simply crimes one gets away with.

If this is legit then I highly doubt you disclosed all of this to the cops, I got buddies that are cops and I mean they're cool but the second you even bring this up they're gonna be like woah woah I don't wanna know this (because the reality is that ur admitting a crime to a police officer)

If what I suspect is true (that the cops don't know the whole story) then why oh why do you supply this information openly on the interwebz for all of us to see?

I believe this story is completely and totally false because if true the following could of happened to you:

I. It would of made the local news.

II. Driver would of been cited and arrested possibly for the following charges:
1. Wreckless driving.
2. Exhibition of Speed
3. Criminal Speeding
4. Aggravated Assault (Felony, vehicular, him doing the pit maneuver.)
5. Second charge of aggravated Assault (Beating him into a hospital with three others second charge of felony.)

III Passengers would of been cited for:
1. Aggravated Assault. (Again class 3 felony.)

I'm not a lawyer but I played one on my 6th grade school play so I know what I am talking about.

Also to the douches that cant read. HE said he was on an overpass with no vehicles or pedestrians when he pitted.

I love how everyone said the cops would tell you to stop the pursuit........Ive pursued my moms stolen van when I lived in Maryland there were no units that could get to our location in time....It was Odenton Maryland. Didnt make the news but did make the news paper.
And I dont know what state most of you live in, but using force to protect your property is legal where I live... Just sayin.
