This is an open forum. Posting screen shots of conversations between you and the seller isnt going to do you or anyone else any good and makes you look like a 5 year old girl that's way too overly eager to get her Barbie dream house. Dispute it with paypal, give him negative feedback. Openly bitching and expecting others to do something is worthless.

I tend to stay away from these "sh*t" threads but I'll hop in just to say that at least hes making an effort to alert the community that he might be getting scammed for items, in this case an expensive item. You'd be pretty pissed as well and would like to let the forum know how you got scammed too if you paid that much for an exhaust, so chill

Yes, But these people still make transactions on here and still sell items even with those bad reviews on their name. It doesn't mean anyone who buys from him with that 70% rating(which is the shittiest rating ive seen on Zilvia) means if they get scammed they aren't allowed a say in what happened to their money, It'll just happen again. Point is the more people who give a scammer a negative feedback or bad rep on the fs thread the more stirred away people will be versus someone who constantly scams and just has 1 negative feedback shown and a ton of transactions that were f**cked up and nobody said anything and 10 positive feedback scores.

I surely would not be jumping up and down demanding that others do something. Two weeks is still in the "Okay, maybe its in the mail" time frame. If it had been a month, then I might say otherwise, but until its been maybe even 3 weeks, it's still easy to consider 'OP is a scammer' as speculation.

No, i've been scammed. I've also thought i've been scammed, but had the courtesy to wait it out a bit longer than two weeks before I started bashing the seller with speculation. Turned out to be some neat stickers in the box and a thank you note. Going rage on a thread is stupid. It's the buyers responsibilty to look at the feedback score of the seller. You even claimed your negligence allowed you to become a target to get scammed, so dont be mad at me 'bro'.

True but imagine this, you sent an $800 payment for an item, and its been 14 days without any contact from seller, and I think someone mentioned in here that they had parts delivered to their home from the same guy, I'd be really uneasy about hearing this. When a seller is making this type of big money transaction for an item of his he should make it priority once they receive the money to start process of item and contact with buyer, but its not a perfect world so :/ .

If you lose an iphone 5, for example, it takes att 3-4 weeks to ship a new one to your house. What if OP strictly uses his phone for internet, wouldn't a lack of communication due to a damaged phone be understandable?

Now i'm not saying you didn't get scammed, i'm just saying give more than 2 weeks before flaming the seller. Yeah, >$400 is something Id expect someone to keep me well informed of the status on, but some people are slower and some are faster, some care more than others, maybe theres extenuating circumstances.

There's still library's out there you can use the internet to make communication. At one point I had to use when I had to move and no internet at the new house for a few days but I had buyers lined up and products to ship. For a big transaction like that, I would think it would be ship same day if not next!

Yes he should have got back to you. But you have to remember he's shipping it half way across the country. Its a big package going a long distance.

You could have just kept your hens in a row for a couple more weeks and after a month from shi then start getting bothered. This reputation might ruin any chance the seller has at selling parts because you jumped the gun.

I'm not saying seller is right either and i understand where you're coming from, but you have to think of your rep and sellers. People might be sceptical to sell to you as well now because you cry wolf.

Why is the op being defended ??? In this case ?? The fact he did not make an attemp to contact the buyer in 2 full weeks ? Is unacceptable period ! Specially on such a high priced sale. The fact he lost his phone is understandable but not an excuse period . I have lost 2 iPhones and it only takes 30 mins to drive to the AT&T store to get another one . It does not takes 3-4 weeks to get an iphone from AT&T !
Even if that really was the case ?! Which I highly doubt it ! Still no excuse ! Most of us , our friends , and even parents have smartphones this days . It would have only taken the op 2-3 days max after he lost his phone ... To try to make an attemp to communicate to the buyer . If he lost his number to text him he could have simply log in to Sylvia.net and send the guy a pm and give an update .
Another messed up fact , is the fact that he had been delivering other parts to some members here ? How did he communicated ? With them to make that sale ??? He had time to travel to deliver parts but not make an attemp to contact one of his major sale ?? And left the buyer worried with no communication ? In my opinion the buyer has all the right to bash the op all he wants ! He deserves it ! Even his feedback is horrible with other buyers who did not get parts and problems still not resolved !

I have brought many big items such as rims. Engines and even exhaust and gotten them within a week ! With tracking number ! It should not take that long to ship an exhaust ! And to not provide tracking number is even worse .

This is ALL that was needed to be said.

Danny has all the rights in the world to post about his current experience with the OP. Clearly it hasnt been a good one. Alot of people claiming there buying parts from him so im sure he has had plenty time contacting them.

Alot of shady people tend to do shit like this not saying he is just yet but they do just for the easy money. If everyone looked the other way and said "hey he just running a lil late" well after 45 days etc your fucked if he was trying to scam you. I give one week MAX when i buy something. If i dont have a tracking number by then less we agreed on other term i start looking to get my money and or the product ASAP..

I deal with people here selling parts and buying parts between $100-$3000. I keep my customers up to date every day on there transaction as well as help in ANY kind of way to make sure things are 110% on there end. I have 100% feedback on all Forums im on for that reason.

RIGHT!

im glad some of u guys see it thru my side of the situation. some of these people are talking like idiots thinking I'm the one doing wrong. doesn't take 2-3 weeks to ship an exhaust system, especially one made of titanium weighing in at 14lbs. if the op can't deliver then he shouldn't be posting up in the for sale threads. at this point I'm in more of getting my money back. but well see what happens. ill keep everyone posted on the situation as time goes by.

na man what i waited is long enough. especially on a item thats priced like that.
If no one wants to sell to me thats on them. my money is just as green as anyone else. my record speaks for its self, i don't have people complaining that i don't deliver what i sell. i bet you would cry wolf as well if u had 800 bucks missing in merch with out no response.......

Point is, Phone or No Phone has nothing to do with you taking a package to UPS/FEDEX/DHL/USPS/Greyhound or whatever you would use.

Once you receive money for something you should take a day or two at max to have it boxed and shipped. 3-5 days Travel time. 2 weeks is too long.

Its been 2 weeks, No Package, No Tracking and not even a simple PM on here from here which you can do that at your girlfriends house etc..

Not what I'm saying at all. Yes id be mad and yes i don't think you shouldn't be.

All I'm saying is if i were you i would have filed a paypal report and any extended things i can do before i called him a scammer. That's all. I mean who knows, maybe it is on its way stuff gets lost etc.

By all means make a thread saying he's a scammer because it could be any of us that did buy his stuff. The only thing i don't like is its sort of too early for my likes. Being called a thief/scammer is a low blow and you want to make sure. If he is a scammer he deserves to be called out. But if he's not and ups screwed up it'll make you look bad. That's all I'm saying.

I really hope you get the exhaust cause its sweet and i don't want to see you waste your money. I've just seen scammer alerts happen on other forums and there's been serious problems when its determined that the mailing company screwed up. I've seen someone's car get smashed because of reputations being soured.

Anyways rant over, I'm not agreeing with either. The seller should contact you asap.

Am sure the op is just sitting back reading all the messages ...... He knows what his doing ... He has done it before ..his feedback says it all .. I would just worry about getting my money from Paypal ASAP ! The exhaust is not gonna arrive !! Am sure he never sent it if his been ignoring you and have no tracking number ....
Even Paypal can be a hassle to deal with .... But if the buyer has no tracking number , I don't see how you could loose the case !

In my personal cases .... I link Paypal to my credit cards ... Not my bank account ... Just in case Paypal don't want to found you the money ..... The credit cards always got your back ... They don't play around , if you have proof you have been scammed and have no tracking number they reverse the transaction and Paypal is screw !!! Nice and simple .

Make a paypal dispute today. If the exhaust comes, you can cancel the dispute.
