I haven't been to the Expo center in maybe a year. I remember one time going up there and all these kids were gathering around my car like some gem. It was stock w/the steeles and drift damage to the passenger fender. Fools. Ahhhhh...I remember challenging a once youthful Oudia and his pimp 3000gt to a drift off next to UPS, and I got into his car to f' around for a bit and the cops rolled up. I jumpped out when it was moving so I could get in my ride and peace(there was a bunch of people there). That place was so homo-sex.

I remember Expo well too. Didnt have a car back then, but still rolled up there with some friends. Who remembers the good ol' METRO days??? We were up there last night at the Superfresh at a Meet to go see 2F2F at a free advanced private screening. Merto was great. I hope it gets revived.

BTW, 2F2F was not much of a street racing movie. There were a few race scenes. Overall the movie was pretty entertaining. I did not watch it to make fun of the cars cause i know it was completely non-realistic. Just made the movie fun.. THe first race scene reminded me of Midnight Racing club. I give it a 8 ot of 10 out for its entertainment rating.

Ohhhhhh man...The metro! That was "let's go watch type-r's race" fun. I think I only had my learners then. But we usually went to the Expo cause it was only 20mins away. The only thing that was usually tight at the Expo was the Scoobys, and that one nerd who had the black 800hp t-top Supra. He musta sold coke or somethin. Those were the days...Shivering in the cold watching cars come and go all the while keeping your eye out for the cops.

the movie wasn't so bad, it was better than the 1st i say. its more of if u got time to kill, go watch it...

anyways, pj, where did u see it at and where ppl revving when they all go out.. ? i was at hoffman and these 2 old *** altezza civic hatchbacks were just driving around and around as if they could drift... but i saw this nice 300zx did a burn out and yellow evo start off and tried to do a "drift"

I think I'm going to watch the movie in the afternoon. I rather not have someone try to race me or almost hit my car. I'm also getting tired of people looking at my car....mainly because of the fender (i think).

edit: I think the EVO VIII has a deep sounding exhaust. Some guy rolled up nice to me during traffic....sounded very nice.

I saw it at the Hoyts in Bowie (past Metro). The private screening was free so i didnt mind the drive. It was mostly Maxima's but yeah, they were being pretty loud when they left. Not really cool, but whatever.

I just got back from Ocean City and i saw a bunch of S13's (3 of 4 turbo). They all had HMP Racing banners. Does anyone know anything about them.

I actually just got to work from my mom's office. Today the McLaren Mercedes F1 Race team was there. She works at the ExxonMobil Office in Fairfax. I got to meet the owner of McLaren, and i saw David Coulthard and Kimi Raikonnen. There was also a F1 car in the lobby with a whole fake pit crew around it. It was cool.

abs0lut: Whays up. Actually im selling those fenders for $185. Actually i bought them, but i decided not to use them. I mean, they came in the day that u came in so you know how new they are. Have some shipping damage, but i think they retail for like 300 something. So even with the repair, they'll be cheaper than the retail price.

I'm trying to organize another BBQ on July 25th. Its going to be in Fredericksburg VA or somewhere close to that. There is a thread on NICO about it. I know its on a friday, and more south than most of you would like to go, but that's what everyone sort of decided on. After the BBQ, we are going to head to a weekly meet in a commuter lot that's nearby.

On another note, does anyone have an extra bottom (pivot) alternator bolt for the KA? The person that had my car before me fudged it up and now I gotta replace it. Dealer is 5-7days, and local part stores don't have them.

Thats cecil. He actually had a RB25DET motor and s15 front end converison laying around his house, but found his car was messed up so he's selling the car. He already sold the rb and the s15 front. Oh yeah, his plates are "SILV1A". Mine are "S1LV1A".
