Ok I have tried searching and the search terms I can think to use do not render anything whatsoever.
My 240 has clearcoat peeling everywhere. There's this one spot on the rear passenger fender that looks like a crack with al ittle rust or something? And then the rear bumper has a spot or two where the paints been knocked or chipped off. Somehow it isn't rusted though. Can I just take a piece of sandpaper and a can of spraypaint to these spots to protect them until I can afford to get a real paint job done on it? |

Not only that but they are generally different shapes. I had to hack the shit out of my USDM bumper to make my silvia bumper fit.
If you want to know how to do it can tell you, i eventually got my front end lined up PERFECTLY.

If you have a front mount just fab up a crash bar, cause most set ups that still utilize the bumper support and a front mount usually consists of the support being cut in the middle, basically losing a lot of its structural support and strength
crash bar can be make custom to help hold up the bumper better, as well as more spacious for front mount to make the USDM one work, I had the side cones cut off and the bottom half needed the cover taken off.

is it very difficult to straiten a fender frame rail without the machine that does it?
NOTE: Fender frame being the support rail that the fender is bolted on, not the frame rail underneath the car

The Cunnerman (local colloquialism for redneck) in me says put a chain on it, and find the nearest F150

Would it be ok to get a valve cover sandblasted with the baffles still on? The guy at the machine shop keeps telling me if sand gets inside the baffles it will ruin my motor completely, even if I try to clean it out.

If you're getting the outside sandblasted, they should definitely be able to tape off the underside, but if a little sand does get in there, you should be able to clean it out if you take a lot of time doing it. I just cut out some baffling from the inside of my valve cover for Rocker Arm Stoppers, and like everyone else that does it I got metal particles everywhere. There's always petrol if fingers and q-tips can't do the job. |

Look around in the For sale section. You'll have to pay much less than if you found something new.

Now my turn. I have an NRG 2.5 QR and I'm trying to use a nardi horn button(from a 360mm classic if it matters). It seems as though the diameter of the horn button is too big to git in the QR. Here's a picture to try and make more sense of it.

My exhaust is currently completely stock, on my SR20DET S14.
I recently bought a new 3" cat-back exhaust, which I want to fit up myself. My question is, will the new 3" outlet of the cat-back exhaust match up with the outlet of the stock cat properly? which I think is about 2.25"? |

[QUOTE=David48;4427226]You'll have to cut out the firewall and weld in the rhd one. If you're good with that then you should be good with the rest of it.

Did an oil change, fuel filter change and replaced the valve cover gasket. Likely just coincidence.. but my heater barely works, if at all, shortly after having done those. Any ideas?

I reasoned with the guy in almost every way possible, he pretty much says its enevidible that sand is going to get inside the baffles. If I do get it sandblasted and sand gets in the baffles, whats the best way to clean it out? |
