flush it with oil, swish it around. if its CLEAN undernieth, air blast it. sandblaster guy should have an air tank on site. prevention is the best thing. tape tape tape. put tape over the bottom, put the old valve cover gasket in the groove, over top of the first layer fo tape, then put tape over that too. triple layer that shit. make criss cross tape coverage. maybe get a spare sheet of aluminum/steel/plastic like an old plastic tub or something, cut out the shape of the valve cover, drill holes in it, bolt it on the bottom there

Not really no, if you want it done right then you have pay for it to be done professionally

If you want a cheapo option that you can do yourself, then you're stuck with the yank the car straight, or in my opinion probably cheaper to go with the buy a new shell with a straight frame

the new shell would probably be cheaper as well, if you dont mind swapping all of your parts to a new car

What do people use to effectively clean the oil stains on the pricey cloth seats (Recaro/Bride) without damaging the fabric?

Does anybody have a link to pics of Origin labs "adult oriented" hoods? Not looking to buy one (I would if I could find one), but looking for pics...

What is the connector that plugs into the brake master cylinder on an S13 for?
I am guessing it is to warn of a low fluid level, but I would like to know for certain.

That's pretty neat! I've always used the little suction hose on Bissel stand up thing that my parents have. Although I hate having to drive to go pick it up from their house as it's big and clunky.

At 17 I don't expect you to know everything, but perhaps this generic Wiki Article can help you understand why I did make such a generalization. Hispanic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Someday, when you grow up, you can be cool like me. Until then if you're going to attempt at 'getting one up' on someone, make sure you do your homework first. Bottom line is, refering to any shop as 'Hispanic/Mexican/Redneck/etc etc etc' is ignorant.

Im having a particularly puzzling situation. I have a 93 s13 w/ redtop sr. i have a pfc with commander. on the commander, with the key in on posistion i have 14vdc for my battery. when i start the car it dips accordingly, and returns to 13vdc ish. again cycling within acctable limits. funny thing is, i have NO repeat, ZERO, accessory power, UNTILL i rev past 2800rpms. then everything comes to life.....then i watch as my batter voltage drops off to the point the car wont even idle. i press the gas pedal and it wants to die, and eventualy does. after wards the car wont start and the voltage reading is below 7.5. if i run the car with it hooked up to another power source (jumpered to another car) it will run and rev and idel just fine. I have tried 2 batteries, 2 alternators and im on my second ignitor chip. im out of ideas and ALMOST out of patience. im running on pure curiousity at this point...lol. any help would greatly be appreiciated.

thanx in advance.

Sounds to me like you got some wiring issues possibly too much resistance somewhere or even a bad ground, check all of your wiring.
