You have sellers with the mentality of getting back what they paid.
$2K car and $10K in parts and labour. Selling for $14K

Then you do have some broke younglings who would like to have the car, but for the $2.5K that they have in the bank.

Nothing we say or do will change anything, so that is how it's going to continue to be. Sellers will want what they think is 'fair' and broke people will always low ball.

The silver lining is that every now and again, you do see reasonable priced cars for sale.

There's a lot that factors price example no rust on location of salty winters . I live in Chicago and drove my s13 from Cali and if I were to sell it please believe id ask for a little more just because there's zero rust . But at the same time it has 180sx quarter Windows and kouki tails SR Nice dash full interior coils ect. I would be thinking about the sale price of a rust free chassis with a good power plant rather than all the little things .
