Totally legal. Have letters from ATF approving use of an ANGLED foregrip on a pistol. Law limits use of vertical grip only. I covered my bases lol. I'm not going to prison for something stupid haha

If you do find one make sure the front site folds straight into its cradle on the butt. People tend to bend the pin, hell even some from the factory come pre-bent. If it lays to the side of the notch and not in to it, no beno. If you do find one look and see if they have a KSG too. Those Unicorns seem to travel in groups... Only con I find with is the tube in the back is not a good cheek rest.

Holy shit. Did not know zilvia had a gun thread. After selling the s14 I've been gone for awhile but log in every now again to reminisce . I'll be stopping by this thread frequently from now on.
Just sold this bad boy a day or two ago, sold within minutes (thankfully). Originally bought it for IDPA but dropped down to stock service pistol class and have been using an M&P9. Couldn't justify beating the shit out of a high end 1911 when I can get m&p's at $400 with leo pricing. Dan Wesson "Specialist" |

I've been eye-fucking the RIA 1911 Compact for some time now.
Real nice entry-level 1911 and it's got amazing build quality. There are a few sure things i'll be upping once i get it though. New sights, lighter trigger and grips for sure. |

What muzzle break/compensator is that on the Sig? What are your thoughts on it?
I've still got the factory bird cage on mine, but I'm debating on getting something else on there.

This is my .308 700 SPS. I picked it up as an EAS present from the Corps and started it back in May 12'. Took about a year but it's finally finished and shoots sub moa groups. Just
Finally got around to painting (fixing) the bell and carlson stock on the Remington 700...Will be using OD-Green Aluma-Hyde II but I really want to ensure my prep work is done correctly. The biggest reason for the re-coating project was I made a noob mistake and installed the cheek riser bolts to low...in addition I drilled at an angle and had an extra hole (oops). I re-drilled the holes properly and proceeded to "erase" the old ones. I used flexible great-stuff to fill the holes of the stock and then after hardening, added waterproof jb weld putty to put a solid top coat over great stuff... Sanded smooth, intially used 150 grit to knock the mounds down and get rid of the factory spider webbing that came on the stock... Once the holes were repaired/filled I went over the entire stock (minus bedding of course) with 100 to scuff it and prep it for the paint... Used Brownell's aerosol degreaser to wipe everything down, once dried I taped off bedding compound/bottom metal inlett and re-install swivel stud to hang for paint. Don't mind my grass/foliage that's growing in my spray booth... Had an oh-so-fine layer of pollen that clung to some parts of the paint and it looks like little patches of dark spots. Not too noticeable but enough to warrant correcting. I just EVER SO GENTLY hit it with wet 220 grit and it rectified the problem. Finished Product: -.308 Remington 700 sps actical -Bell and Carlson medalist stock -Seekins Precision bottom metal conversion -Seekins Precision scope base -Seekins Precision scope rings -Short Action Customs trigger job, bedding job, stock inlet/bottom metal install -Vortex Viper PST 4-16x Scope -Haris SBRM bipod w/ pod lock 100yd zero: |

I "conceal" my FNX40 in a Crossbreed SuperTuck at 3 O'clock... I've got to take it off whenever I get in the car though because it's a little too big to slip into my Recaro SPG with me.

STAG brake, retail is about 25 bucks, works great, just pisses people off next to you because of the shockwave and how much louder the gun is haha. i run a PWS brake on my 5.45 and its a great brake as well, but for $25 buck you really cant beat the Stag. |
