What would make you change coilovers so often/much?

I can't swallow the cost of the DG5 setup, especially since a Koni setup outperforms it, and is cheaper. Confused as to why so many people dont' even consider them anymore. I'm not saying DG5 or Yashio or any of them are shit, I just don't know why a real deal Koni (or even the Bilstein setups) aren't more popular.

^not sure if serious.

They're grey because the sun faded them. Nissan doesn't sell custom faded tail lights...

They were all black outlined. The grey just means it is faded. You'll have to pick up a used one that is faded just as much as yours are.

Have Bilstein on the Evo 9 MR & Nismo Frontier... they are really nice... alot of the Porsche guys swear by their coilovers... thats good enough for me. Not that the MR needs coilovers (just lower springs), but if... it would be Bilstein. and I have Koni on the Civic... yes I also have a fucking Civic!

Because you don't just order them, bolt them on, and go. You actually have to research what combo you want, then (if I remember correctly) modify the lower strut mount. Why do all that work if all you really want out of a coilover is to lower your car for as cheap as possible, which is what most people seem to want?

I change cars when I change coilovers, so thats my problem. Haha, I need to stick with one car.

But my first white kouki I had mr coils, got my grey kouki went with stance GR+, loved them then they blew so I just got some mr's again, then pbm was really getting there name out there so I got them, ive had 3 sets of them and loved them. I just wanna try a higher end coil, but all im doing is street driving (hard) and going low. So it really shouldnt matter lol.

I'd like to go this route eventually but has anyone figured out how to get them on the rear of the s14 using stock/driftworks knuckles without fabbing their own housings?

isn't that what a 18/19 stagger would look like?
I am so unsure if I go all 19's or 18/19 stagg, what do you think?
I would love to see some 18/19 staggered S14 koukis, to get an idea, if they had great fitment would be even better.

Camber plates already maxed out and with 18x10 +0 up front, I don't think it needs spacing up front. Just the right amount of poke. I like the rake and I can actually roll more than 5 feet without melting the sidewalls off now in the rear. I'll need to flare/pull if I want to go lower in the rear on these 11s
