Plenty of threads involved with that swap, do some searching. There is some involvement doing it in regard to electronics and sensors

Get a used engine, swap it in a day. However do your homework with the S13 to S14 swap

Have you tried them the other way?

Are the shafts for the correct type diff ? LSD and Open are Different.

I hate to say this man, but you really really really need to research what you're doing here. There are quite a few write ups on the swap (s13 DE to S14 and reverse) that are easily found and will cover all of your issues.

As it stands now from your posts, it seems like you're shooting int the dark a bit. Spend an hour searching and most of your issues will answer themselves.

Remember, this is the small question thread, not the ask 100 questions on how to swap an engine thread.

Off the top of my head here in a few seconds:
M6x1.0 for any of the 10mm headed washers. I can take pictures later with my thread gauge if you'd like me to.

The bellhousing bolts are 1.5 pitch thread

...I can keep going, but I don't want to offend an expert like you.

Sup guys quick question just want input... will the locking mechanism on the driver side door on a 96 240 be interchangeable to a s13 chassis lock mechanism? Talking about the part that locks the door to the little loop thing in the quarter panel?

I just picked these up today oddly... Factory oil pan bolt on the left, new one from the marked box on the right.

I'm looking to buy a new carpet for my s13.

just about every site i visited says this

"1991-1993 NISSAN 240SX HICAS 4W STEERING ONLY CARPET PASSENGER AREA"

now my question is, whats the difference in the interior/floor pan from a hicas and non hicas 240sx?

will the carpet still work? i can only imagine theres a small bump near the back seat to accommodate the hicas subframe. anyone know?

had my car in the garage today and needed to drive it up on some 2x4 to get a jack under it and it wouldn't start. i could hear the fuel pump working when i turn the key to acc, everything had power and battery tested with a multi meter at 12.26v and id turn the key and nothing happened. after toying with my battery ground and checking to make sure i didnt pop a fuse or something and a few minutes of turning the key it randomly started. there was some sort of bad smell, not sure what it was. is this an electrical issue or is it my starter?

the big thick one up above the wheel there inside the fender? i've got a little rubbing on it. it broke thru the loom but i don't think thru the wires at all. its always started fine, i didn't drive it for like 3 months when i had to find and weld in a new subframe stud. and it was doing this exact thing but when i wiggled the battery ground it started right up. tried that this time and nothing.

Anybody have a KOYO radiator with any MISHIMOTO fan wheter its the shroud kit or a single big fan: 12'", 14", 16"
on their S14 95-97?

Want to know if these two parts are compatible with each other. I need a bigger fan to keep my temps cool for the summer and track time.
I already contacted Mishimoto, and all they could tell me, was "if the OEM fan fits on the KOYO radiator then the Mishimoto fans should fit as well."

Just wanted to ask here, incase somebody is already running that on their S14 or knows about my situation.

Any fan suggetions that are compatible with the KOYO radiator? need a bigger fan.
