I agree with this. I mean, theoretically, one could argue that any LS swap could be done for super cheap if you make your own mounts, steal the swap from a car, etc. I don't promote that whatsoever; theives deserve to die. However in theory one could do it and there's a big chunk of your cost. Kind of dumb to ask broadfield how much it costs then say it can be done cheaper. It's clear the man does quality shit by the amount of AN lines he's running.

Then you are mixing apples and oranges, therefor your argument is invalid.

It's common sense that a stock ls1/t56 can be bought and swapped in cheaper than a crate/built ls3 & t56 plus swap.

it was pertaining to the other guy talking about his swap.i misread where he said it was ls3. i was just implying about not having to spend money on making things right, dont have to buy stuff to do it the right way - that was the message. anyways, cool build.

I won't have pics of mine for probably a month or so. The bay is getting repainted because it's a couple shades off. However, if you have a "fabricator", then he shouldn't need pics of anything... he'll just fabricate whatever you want!?!

Thanks, but it seems sketchy. That motor is worth much more than that if it truly is "brand new in the crate". That or it's missing a bunch of stuff.

I have had my motor for months now... hell, it's sitting in the engine bay.

LS7 is internally weak being the sleeves are shit. LS3 is a better motor IMO, especially for the price.

LS2's never came in the Camaro FYI. You will find them in 2005-06 GTO's and 2006-07 Vettes. The newer Camaro has LS3, same as the Vette. If you are on the fence about it, do yourself a favor and take a ride. Just the idea was enough for me, but a ride confirmed I had made the right choice.

Has anyone considered that Toby may have sourced a true Nismo kit? Subtle, urethane and uber rare.
