I just bought this SR from JDM engines in Richardson TX (local to me) and it came with Nismo 555, s15 t28 bb, silk road 3 puck clutch, appears to have a metal head gasket, an ECU that is marked (as best as I can read): 550cc inj, z32, t67 (?), tomei... so it may even have tome cams. my question is... can you identify this exhaust manifold?

Hey Jacob,
It's HPI, sell it use the stock manifold.
All the aftermarket ones cracks even the $1,000 hks ones.
Stock is the best for reliability.
Good luck,

Sam

nope, nope and nope. lol. its hard to tell from the crappy photo that i provided, but the 1st tube (closest to the front of the motor) has a single, and short, tight bend. all the other manifolds have it to where the first tube kind of has 2 angles. this one is just one short, symmetrical bend that runs parallel with the flange. i'll try and take another photo.

How would you know it's not a HPI?
you havn't even seen their ad or website.
I know for sure it's HPI cuz they gave me one to test
on my yellow s13 back in 2004.
They are the only one with the last 2 runner up like that.

i thought that too but i got that pic form a vid where one car had rezax(no the one in my pic) and this one had something similar to rezax, has a Z center cap and the spoke design is a little shorter and fatter, and the spokes split a little later compared to rezax.

They are VIP Modular VX110s. I thought they were Rotiforms, but I did a little searching and apparently VIP Modular made him those wheels one-off before they were ever offered by them. I'm pretty sure you can buy them now.

Here's a shot where you can see the center cap:
