OK kiddos.... for further driveline tuning, this thing makes a lot of noise if you don't do it right.... I would use CA18DET engine mounts or drift freaq mounts which sit the engine 10mm lower.... You then need to raise the tranny as high as you can.... In my car, when I did this..... the output of the tranny is pointing down -2.5* whereas my rest of the driveline -1.7*....
If you aren't sure how to do this...use this and an angle finder https://spicerparts.com/calculators/...gle-calculator or Tremec toolbox on your phone through any app store.... make sure you take your case off your phone to measure accurately.....

Well shit for posterity and people tracking their cd009 my tranny started leaking in the bell housing. I didnt know this but some people say the bottom screw needs sealant....
In the end put fucking sealant on all the screws. I will probably use locktite blue that has built in thread sealant... geezus... Will be pulling the tranny and changing, the input shaft seal, front housing seal and adding sealant on the screws... ugh...

Are you using the optional antenna for range? I have a dash cover with a ton of velcro to hold it down. I plan to mount the antenna in the center of the dash under the cover. Also, your previous post mentioned using 16k PPM. Are you using the 20k PPM setting because of the kph cluster? |

I would assume under the cover is fine.... but I am not a radio technician so I have no idea..... I have to use the optional antennae because the module itself is setting behind the radio on the tranny tunnel. Its deep in the dash where there a lot of metal and radio antenna and grounding stuff... I think the optional antennae under the dashboard cover overlay SHOULD work but its not very flat. Its about same thickness as a zippo lighter and about half the size.....
