it was all for aerodynamics for sprinting I guess. that was in the 80's he used to race with that one. and the panasonic grape dust he gave to me he won in one of his races.

and yeah its more your neck that hurts from trying to look where your going. you can sure move on it though

^looks like a pursuit bike, I like the internal shifter cables... that is a crazy setup.

Those angles aren't too bad, its like riding in the drops all the time.

I'm not a big fan of top tube pads aesthetically, but my top tube is banged to shit and so this works for now.

depends what it is, if you want cheap. bikesdirect.com or buy used conversion, cragislist, etc.
don't shop at orange 20 unless you are a hipster.
how tall are you? I have a 57cm khs flite I am trying to unload.

Expect to spend 400-500+ after accessories (lights, helmet, gloves, straps/clips, pedals, shoes, shorts)

performance bike is pretty good on pricing too.
