I'm just going off what they told my bud when he showed up with his vert s13. He was trying to hit the track though so maybe they're more lax for the skid pad

sucks, after I was finally able to complete some full course drifts with my girls e93, her camera lost all that footage...
hope I can find someone who might have some vids or pics...., I saw a lot of people recording, I wanna look at it and self critique...to do better next time.

Apparently there are S-Chassis meets on Saturday nights at 7pm on Lone Mountain and Durango. Shouldnt be too far from you actually. I may go out there this weekend but im not sure yet.

I have an aftermarket set. they are mix-matched but I ran them on my old s14 for 1.5 years with no problems.
One is a tein, the other a battle version.
Ill let them go for $100

Hanging out in LV for the next couple weeks, then heading on to LA. I've seen a few 240s rolling around since I've been here. Unfortunately I've been rolling around in my ladies Mkiv Jetta so I didn't get anybodies attention.

My s13 just arrived yesterday, I have to fix a few things from the transport then hit the road. I'm hoping to run into some good 240 guys while I'm here. Any good spots where you guys meet up?

$120ish to drive 2 courses, beginners and advanced.
or just show up to meet people. a lot of good drivers seem to show up at their events.

Besides some guy hitting my girlfriends brand new E93 M3, which was parked....because he has a radiator in his rear window and cant see out of it.......and runining our day and made me not even want to drive anymore...the event was awesome....lol

my wife and I are considering moving there at the end of the summer. I wanted to get some insight into what its like living there. ups and downs, opinions, whatever. ive been a few times but only to the strip like every tourist.

moving from san diego. things I know...

cost of living is way cheaper.
heat can be brutal in the summer.
awesome night life.

questions...

Hows the S-chassis scene?
is car theft bad out there?
how are the cops compared to socal? rules and regs and all that. I drive slow, so really just worried about fix it tickets etc. loud v8 swap.

any other good or bad experiences for those of you that have moved to vegas from other cities?

4000 sq ft beautifull houses for $2k a month.)

heat can be brutal in the summer.(Yes, but your not walking on the streets, just pepare for $150-$350 bill for electric if you like blasting ac all the time and have a big house..)

Hows the S-chassis scene?(drift scene is big,tons of 240's during the events.... people seem to be more serious about the scene here then cali.. because in Cali, theres a lot of posers/ parkers//just go to meet kind of people.. ) but I dotnt see many big car meets like in Cali.. but the enthusiasts are out there, I always see nice 240's

is car theft bad out there? (not that I know of.) and my insurance is cheaper now.

(theres very few cops that care about modded cars/ as long as your not speeding or making a shit ton of noise)

Pool parties are the best!!! good shopping here too..

What do you plan on working with? any jobs lined up?

There's a lot of 240s in town, decent community.
Thefts seem occur in bursts, depends on the part of town. It's a high ticket car so an alarm and garage are a must have for me.
The only time a cop has stopped me was outside my house. He just wanted to know what exhaust I had since he was looking for one for his Speed3.

I'm not into the night life or drifting, but locals seem to welcome everyone for the most part. There's big meets if you go to the right spots, but beware Civic owners.

yeah, love the pools there. ill actually be at wet republic the 9th and rehab the 10th. my wife and her girls do those bikini contest there each summer and win a bunch of cash.

will work for 24 hr fitness. want to pick up a 2nd job there as well. something fun like 2 nights a week.

thanks for the feedback guys. glad to hear there is a strong drift community in vegas. kinda tired of all the hard parkers around here. its just boring.
