I don't understand the big deal. There are plenty of women that drive cars.
Why make it a big deal when one has a sort of affinity towards hers? Guys really frothing at the mouth for girls into the same shit as them are lame.

"You're doing it wrong" Pt. 2 - Because turrible ideas never die
Quote:
Not really. There are a few things at work here. 1. Yes guys like skanky "models". We all can't help but look at the half naked girls on top of cars. It's click bait. 2. Everyone wants a sexual/romantic partner that shares common interest. We're all like "omfg, we have so much in common, music, games, sports, movies, foods and cars!!' That's the dream. 3. We all want stuff unique to us from our partners. You want to escape and be with the "bros". 4. With hobbies there is also always a dick measuring contest. Who's the better basketball player, who knows more sports trivia, who has a better gaming rig, who's a better hacker, who's a better mechanic, who's car is faster... Etc. 5. Hobbyists HATE posers. No mater what the hobby is, we hate people who pretend to be in our clique but are not "real fans". So with Female car owners there is lots of conflicting issues. They need to be "real" car enthusiasts and not posers. Often times this puts expectations on them greater then ourselves. I got props for people "calling out" someone. Whether that's a drift off, stance off or a drag race. ...but... We all do have to acknowledge that many of these "car girls" are just broke ass Paris Kardashians. They want to be famous and popular, but they don't have talent, skill or even killer looks to elevate them. So they take what looks they got, have dad buy them a bro-whip and blast the Social Media with selfies and hashtags #racedaybitches So nerds fall for it, some get enraged by it, the rest of us roll our eyes. Now as for SVTForums, something else is up too. "Callouts" are a big deal in the "power"-car side of things. Corvettes, Mustangs, Evos, DSM, Supra, GTR and Camaros... whose the fastest is what makes you special. Guys brag all the time about their setups, numbers and times. This is different from Hondas, Volkswagens and 240's where owners piss and moan about wheel brands, stance and body kits. So now we have not only a general tool-bag getting the beat down after going around talking shit and calling people out.... That tool-bag is a Car Gurl!!! |

I don't see any difference between a "car girl" getting attention and missile kid; except one has nicer tits.* Neither of them have any business being around a car and the same knowledge level**
*inmost cases ** to be fair there are exceptions to this generality Found this goody today:

Yikes. They're nice cars, a friend of mine has one for a daily. Clean, stock with bc coils. But most of the owners I encounter drive like idiots and have a real smug face. What's to be smug about? $25k/200 hp? I digress.
Thank satan you survived Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Don't belittle that. That na v6 z32 is as much as 27 years older than the toyobaru. (1989 vs 2016). That's 27 years of "innovation" for toyobaru, and 27 years of who knows what kind of use and abuse on the z. Keep that in mind.

frs:13.8hp per pound/ NA 300zx 14.9hp per pound
If the 300zx sold for 30k in 1990, and a Frs sells for 25*? why hate them? Wouldnt the appeal to the same target audience? |

Also, while it is slow now, that Z's power output was acceptable in its time compared to similar cars that were available, which is more than I can say for the Toyota-Subaru. It suffers the from the same issue as those screaming Honda engines. Torque is non-existent. Although, Honda was making better motors than that POS in the 86 over a decade ago. |

Not in the least. In 1990 a Mustang made 225hp. A base V6 Z was making damn near the same power as the thirsty V8s back then at 220hp. The FRS makes less then half the power of today's V8s. GT86 makes 200hp, the V8s are in the 430 range now. $30,000 in 1990 is also $54,000 today. |
