Same deal at SIR and the ridge with noise restrictions. but it is from a certain time to a certain time. In the Chump/lemons series we were instructed to not start the cars early or late to upset the neighbors of the tracks, but during the day, we were allowed anything that passed tech.

i can imagine that the noise restriction are enforced to save the track from damage, or the timing of the events didn't work out?

There was a drift event at Oregon Raceway Park a couple weekends ago and the turnout was real low. It's far to go out there, even from Portland, but it's in the middle of nowhere and it's an *awesome* track.

Obviously everyone heads to pick-a-parc ("where the run lines look like the junkyard"(tm)) but that's pretty much it.

Something like that. I'm fairly certain it had to do with sometime of insurance exemption about running cars on their track and they finally got clamped down own. That, and the residents nearby constantly complaining. Not sure why you would move next to a fucking race track if you don't like hearing the vroom vroom all day.

Call me when there's a new track in WA that isn't beat ass hickcity Evergreen Speedway. That was genuinely that last season I enjoyed in WA. I made it to PARC a few times in OR last year but 3 hours on the road from Seattle and 2-3 tanks of gas really takes the fun out of it for me.

I don't think I ventured down to Kent more than about once but I saw a lot of DIW in Bremerton. The concentration of garbage increased exponentially as you got away from the water and it was mostly integras and other cheap shitboxes.
