The first date between the side of a mountain and the FMIC didnt work out too well! FMIC got his heart broken!

That and I hate FMIC unless have a need for them, but with stock turbo my Blitz sidemount is great!

Me and a buddy are going to be doing our own similar kit. I can let you know the specs and products we use if you need.

I was also considering re-routing/making new hardlines. but realized we could do it this way.

I would recommend detailers pride engine degreaser from autogeek.net out P21S auto wash.
They both work very well. I will post up pics of my engine bay before and after I clean my engine bay.

NO NO NO.

with the engine not being hot.

1st what i do is cover any areas that i don't want to get wet like the distributor, the intake opening, etc. etc..

2nd hose down the areas that i do want to cleaner with a VERY gentle steam of water, if you have a hose that has a mist setting that is even better. then i use my detailer's pride engine degreaser

let it sit 2-3 mins then i agitate is with a detailer brush (kinda like a paint brush but not quite).

3rd rinse it all off, then i use my air blower and get as much water out like that they turn the engine on the heat up and dry off.

Looking forward to seeing pics of that Midnight Purple car floating around.

That matte black engine bay is really cool, it looks clean and organized. Neat paint choice and props for making a matte color not look ghetto!

I fab'd the heatshield with a english wheel and a ball hammer and trimmed to shape. It was tedious, but pays off in the end.

Yeah I pretty much immediately regretted the stickers. But the hoses look a thousand times better when I have them covered in braided sleeving. I really am not a fan of the stock catch tanks location.

Well unfortunately no engine shots to show off just yet!!!! Still need to machine my block and by some rods. But the engine bay is basically done and awaiting the motor. Relay/Fuse Box relocation to under the dash, full custom harness done by myself with only the full lighting wiring, and electric fan wiring going forward of the firewall. Battery relocation to the trunk with cut off switch. Wires coming out of the pass side firewall are to connect to the starter and lower harness and such. Left em long until I get the motor in and finish the wire tuck. Got a lot of ideas and inspiration here so figured Id show off what it all accumulated too!!!!
