Plug a hard drive or thumb drive into your PS3, copy the pics over on to that, then onto your computer.

You have to select "Copy to XMB Album" or something in the GT5 photo album, then you have to go to your PS3's main menu picture thing and press Triangle on the new album you got, then copy it into your USB drive.

Real weird, I don't know why you can't directly make an album on the USB drive like GT4.

So I bit the fucking bullet since AAFES fucking suck donkey balls and bought a JDM copy offbase but...what the fuck is up with the load time?!?! Took me 2 hours to download the patch since base internet fucking blows and then it ate another 30 mins of "installing" the game. After all that, shit still spends lots of time loading up shit. Seems like anytime you click on anything, it freezes trying to load. I even tried to install more data under options and it didnt change much as far as load times.

Long load times are one of the well documented complaints so far. Downloading the update was slow because of your internet, installing the game took 8GB (I think) so that's why it was slow there. The load times are just something we are going to have to deal with unless they can come up with a way to decrease load times in an update. I hope they give us the option to install even more data onto the hard drive, as I've got plenty of room, and would love reduced load times.

So I got a chance to play the game a on a Samsung 1080p 120hz with my cockpit and wheel set up.

First, the graphics are pretty fucking amazing. My TV obviously sucks. BUT there were still somethings that I thought looked terrible like the shadow around the car as the camera circles it before a race. But the standard cars don't look bad at all on a nice TV.

Second, the game is SOOOOO much more fun and the physics feel way more realistic with the wheel.

These things completely changed my feeling about the game. I love it.

Dam i cant seem to get the correct tune really.. Ive never actually drifted and ive never actually had performance suspension. so for me i dont know how much camber, toe, ride height etc should be.

Ohh yeah and when i race for some reason my tires dont wear out ?? i noticed online the gas and tires wear out normally but on career it doesnt.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time drifting with my s13. I've got 300hp LSD, weight reduction, sport medium tires, and it seems that the oversteer is too much and I can never countersteer properly... Its much easier for me to use the controller

Hopefully you played with a good steering wheel and HD resolution. Seriously the game comes alive with a steering wheel. Online play is really fun unless you got idiots who dont know when to brake and always smash into you.

Make sure to turn off the steering assists in the options and force feedback all the way up. Then before getting on track, turn off all the abs and traction assists, put road grip to realistic. Good to go.

Online - running the nurburgring nordsheilfe and on a straight I was passing a civic doing over 140 and my car got sucked into the air foil as I passed him and just lost it. lol

I do.

Those cars are rad as fuck, and k-car cups were some of my favorite races.

Forza has 400+ "premium" cars, although I have my own issues with T10 right now since they are only offering the Stig car pack and Top Gear test track on the ULC edition disc. That's pretty fucked up to all of us who bought the game on release day and bought all the dlc.

Do you think that when they do updates they can also update some of the renderings and such as well as update standard cars into premium cars?

I understand some of you guys want this, but I hope they don't waste their time updating non-premium cars and imstead address overall game features and performance in future updates. I just pretend the standard cars aren't even there. Plenty of cool premium cars to play with already, maybe they can add new ones, but I think converting standards is a waste of time.

so is a steering setup wheel basically essential for this game to be worth it?

It'd make it better, but I think it's fine with just the regular controller.

To get the best experience from GT5, you need a steering wheel setup. It just immerses you in the game that much more.

I think I'll wait on this one and see how the upcoming patches do.

I played it alittle at my friends house and didn't like it, and after playing it for a few days my friend said it wasn't worth it either.
